In observance of Memorial Day, our clinic will be closed today as our team spends time with loved ones and reflects on the meaning of this holiday. We hope everyone has a safe and peaceful Memorial Day, and we will reopen during normal business hours tomorrow. ❤️

Older pets have a kind of magic you can’t rush… the gentle eyes, the loyal hearts, the “I’ve-been-your-best-friend-for-years” kind of love. They may nap a little longer and move a little slower, but their cuddles? Top tier.

We love the zoomies AND the slow strolls. The baby fluff AND the seasoned snuggles. Every age, every stage, every tail wag matters here 🤍

Things just took a wild turn at Rowlett Veterinary Clinic 🐾🌴

As of today, we are officially expanding our services to include… EXOTIC & ZOO ANIMALS 😳

Yes, you read that right. Your neighborhood vet just got a whole lot more National Geographic.

Today’s patient lineup included:🦥 A sloth who checked in 45 minutes early… and still hasn’t made it to the exam room🦩 A flamingo with serious leg confidence🦒 A giraffe who absolutely refused to bend the rules (or its neck)🐒 And a group of monkeys who somehow scheduled themselves online

Our staff is now specially trained in:
✨ Interpreting “lion side-eye”
✨ Dodging unexpected tail swipes
✨ And maintaining professionalism while a lemur judges us from across the room

Friendly reminders for all clients:👉 Please use appropriate carriers (yes, even for kangaroos)👉 No chasing staff members — we will come to YOU👉 Snacks are for your pets… unless you’re a zebra, then we might negotiate

We’re excited to bring a little safari energy to Rowlett — at least for today 😄

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the sweetest little visitors come in for their puppy shots 🐾💕 Each one brought their own mix of wiggly tails, curious noses, and tiny bursts of bravery. From the shy snugglers to the bold explorers, every pup took an important step toward a happy, healthy life filled with playtime and cuddles. Safe to say… we’ve been soaking up every second of the puppy love around here 🥹✨

Thirteen years young and still running the clinic like she owns the place 🐾👑

Happy 13th Birthday to our tiny CEO, head of morale, crumb inspector, and professional tail wagger. She may be small, but her fan club at RVC is enormous. Clients come for their appointments… and stay for her.

She’s greeted thousands of patients, supervised countless treats, and posed for more photos than the staff combined. Aging like a fine chew toy and still stealing hearts daily. 💗

Here’s to 13 years of cuddles, clinic shifts, and being the most popular girl in scrubs (well… adjacent to scrubs).
