Update—Tess is back to eating grain with her beet pulp and cleaning it all up. Back to normal and I hope to fatten her up some.

This morning Tess gobbled up Unbeetable beet pulp. So good to see an appetite !

Tess is alert but didn’t pass anything overnight. She’s turned out to move around more. I’ll get more fluids today if I don’t see her drink. She checked out the trough but didn’t drink yet.

Tubed and iv fluids on board. She doesn’t like being inside.

I’m worried about Tess (Takoma) not eating today and acting very tired. No signs of colic or distress though. She did take a treat from me and was basking in the sun enjoying rubs. As I left she went to her favorite spot to lie down. At almost 29 1/2, she may be ready. It’s a lovely day though, 67 and sunny. Vet will come by later today to check.
