Hi all,

Wanted to share an update thats going on over here.

As many of you know I've been struggling with some health problems for a while. Well I finally got an answer, its called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Unfortunately its something that isnt treatable, and has drastically affected my ability to groom.

Thankfully I have 2 amazing groomers working with me. They are doing full haircuts and kicking butt! I am basically scheduling all dogs with them. However, i am always there while theyre grooming and am focusing on continuing to train them and even help if they need. They are not yet fast as we are focusing on quality and safety so appointments take longer, but you will still get the same beautiful grooms, and gentle handling.

Another change that this has caused is our hours are temporarily reduced. They will expand again in the future but right now were only open Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Because of that we are booking out further than normal. Were currently almost completely booked through October.

Another change is that to save money we're moving grooming back into the garage and returning the building to Pioneer Shed Company. It was a hard decision until I realized that it doesnt really matter where we groom. What matters is the love and care we give you and your animals. Thankfully though this time we have actual walls in the garage and got rid of those scary nasty garage doors 😆.

We are not going anywhere. We love what we do, bringing caring grooming to the pets of our community. As they say in the Marines, were not retreating just attacking from a different direction!

Thank you all for your kindness and compassion as I navigate my new normal. And for all the support and encouragement you all show to Brenda and Stella as they learn the ropes!

Much love to you all,
Mary

25 years ago was a day of unimaginable devastation and amazing bravery. There's so much in our country that divides us but our humanity unites us. We must never forget.

Someone needs to give this sweet boy a home. He is no joke the sweetest pup ever. We loved having him at the salon with us for some well deserved pampering!

We got to groom 2 beautiful and wonderful dogs for Rimrock Humane Society! Dolly (left) and Reba (right). They are both so incredibly sweet! Dolly loves to give hugs and Reba adores being petted and brushed. Mac doted on Reba and did a lot of the brushing. They both were so gentle with my kiddo. If youre looking for a new family member please consider one of these girls 🥰

Its been a loooooong road to getting my new grooming salon finished. There's still some buttoning up that needs to happen, but im moved in and grooming! Today was the first day grooming in there and it was SO NICE!

We're still at the same place its just the building right next to my shop I was using. That space will be the next one to get work done to make it even nicer for the boarding and daycare pups.

I couldn't have done this without some amazing people's help! First Scott Goffena came out and leveled the spot and got the gravel pad ready for my building. Then Morton Gene Brown did the electrical work. And Ryan Couch and Linda Passmore Couch dedicated so much time and effort to get it done! I seriously couldn't have done it without these kind giving people. And it feels so good to be working in such a beautiful space.

We also got it done in time for today which is our official reopening of boarding and daycare!!!

Had an awesome morning at the Spring Market today with Rimrock Humane Society. We had some cute adoptable puppies, including my sweet foster boy Silas. It was so much fun hanging out with Stephanie Moncalieri and Val Topping and getting to talk with so many people!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good week. This week has flown by and been so busy. And the last 2 weeks before this one I had a 2 week migraine 🤕, though I still worked through most of it, I just didn't have the energy to take pictures or post. Here's a couple of pics I did get though 💖.

In happy news, I wanted to give a shout out to Brenda and Stella. These girls are both rockstars! I don't know how I got so lucky. They are so dedicated and hard working and quick learners. And we have so much fun working together. I've always loved my job, but having these two here took it to the next level. It's amazing to love what you do, but I've learned how awesome it is to share that passion with others. And im so thankful to all of my clients who've given these new girls a chance and let them work on their pups. You are just as much investing in their education and future when you do that!

I hope you all have a relaxing fun weekend! And I'll see ya around town 😁
