Kitten Konnoisseur

Thanks to generous donations from Allison Tara + Steff Childs (she/her) , I was able to get this Tomahawk Live Trap (recommended by Bronx Community Cats | TNRM Organizers ). Not only will this help with the soon to be ball-less community cat on my street, but will be available to borrow to community members! If you’re in the Austin metros area and need to get a kitty TNVR’d, hit me up! #

And remember, Austin Humane Society offers rental traps and has a robust TNVR program. Wilco Regional Animal Shelter also offers free TNVR to county residents on Fridays. Check out both organizations to find out more!

Hey, it’s and somehow Marsha and Pringles are still without homes despite going to an adoption event Tomlinson's Feed today.

So we’ll be strolling around POP Cats™ Cultura Gatuna tomorrow (Sunday 8/9) in hopes of snagging an adopter.

Have a business we can do a pop-up adoption event at? Interested in adopting but live outside of Austin? We’re open to any means of getting these two adopted out.

It’s exhausting looking for a forever home. 😔

Sweet Marsha is still on the hunt for her person. And everyday that passes, she gets a little less adoptable as she grows out of the cute kitten phase.

Think she may be the right fit? Come meet her and Critical Kitten Care Fund pal Pringles Tomlinson's Feed ‘s Parmer Ranch location in Georgetown this Saturday, August 8th from 12-4pm.

We hope to see you there, and hope Marsha’s happily ever after is just a few days away 🤞.

The complication between differing cultural beliefs, perceived needs of the cats, and urgency to find cats homes can be overwhelming in rescue.

I know talking about where cats spend their time is highly debated and can be highly emotional, so please keep your comments kind and respectful. There is no one right answer here, and learning how to find nuance in the issue is paramount to making the lives of cats and humans better. ❤️

Paws up if you’re still looking for a home! 🐾

Marsha is all fixed up and patiently waiting for her person. This gal is great with dogs, cats, and kids. She’s a perfect mix of cuddly and independent with a calm demeanor. Please help us find her person as we’ve been on the hunt for over a month to no avail. Her peak adoptability window is quickly closing, so any sharing, reposting, etc. does wonders to getting this girl seen.

Let’s hope her next post is one with good news 🤞!

Another day awaiting forever. Won’t someone take this gal home?!

Little Miss Marsha, the suckle queen, is somehow STILL looking for her forever person. If you’re ready to be her human pacifier, raise your hand (so she can inspect which finger to suckle first).

There’s just something about a tabby cat! Can’t resist this face? Message so you can wake up to it everyday (maybe suckling on your face 😹).
