Jaxx and Ruby Jane were rescued over 5 years ago.

We trapped their mom in Florence. She was huddled on the cold concrete, desperately trying to block the wind. We didn’t have the heart to spay her and let her loose back in the cold.

So, we took her in, and she had her babies. Jaxx and Ruby Jane were adopted together and have the absolute best family.

Florence (the mom) and Nova, her third kitten, stayed with us. They are living a happy life, too.

I love to be reminded of our victories for cats and kittens. CTFR exists because people care and support us. So, thank you. 🙏

A positive Rocket update for your Memorial Day! He now weighs about 125 grams, and he's starting to open his eyes. ❤️

We think he was about 3 to 5 days old when we rescued him... so he's now a little over two weeks. He's still with our amazing volunteer, Perri, and she's taking excellent care of him.

Remember Natalie, the calico beauty we saved from euthanasia in November? Well, this 3-legged gal loves a high perch... she definitely isn't lacking in jumping skills, lol.

Natalie is thriving at volunteer, Jami's house, and we think it's probably permanent, as they love each other... and Natalie especially loves the catio. ❤️

Our dear gal, Lola. She's hanging in there and cleaning her tumor every day. We're giving her as much time as possible.

Lola's been with us for about 13 years. She, Stubbs, and Ingrid had a bounty on their heads. Management at a trailer park where their caregivers lived was threatening them with eviction if the residents continued to feed them.

We stepped in to help and took Lola, Ingrid, and Stubbs.

Ingrid and Stubbs passed peacefully some time ago.
Lola has mammary cancer, but her personality and habits are the same. We know she doesn't have much time left, but we're making the best of it. ❤️
