ā˜•šŸ¾ Tara may fit in a teacup, but this tiny kitten needed a little extra care! šŸ’™

Her new family brought her to UrgentVet after noticing she was walking differently on her right front leg. Our team also found she was underweight and needed help with fleas and dirty ears.

Tara was eating and drinking, and didnā€™t seem painful. She received a gentle ear cleaning, deworming treatment, and medication to help her get started on the right paw. Her next steps: good nutrition, lots of TLC, and follow-up with her regular veterinarian.

Testing revealed hookworms. Our team sent him home with deworming treatment, tummy support, and a probiotic to help him feel better. šŸ¶

Parasites are common in puppies and may not be visible in stool. F***l testing and prevention are important ways to protect growing pups. šŸ©ŗ

This calm, sweet pup came to UrgentVet after vomiting, skipping meals and not acting like himself. A possible culprit? A taste of bacon. šŸ„“

Because rich, fatty foods can lead to serious stomach issues, our team ran bloodwork to check for pancreatitis. Thankfully, his results were reassuring! Woodrow went home with fluids, nausea medication and a bland-diet plan.

Those puppy-dog eyes can be hard to resist, but human foods arenā€™t always safe for pets. Weā€™re here when your pet needs urgent care. Feel better soon, Woodrow! šŸ’™

Sweet 3-month-old Bobbie came to see us at UrgentVet after experiencing a few days of tummy troubles. After an exam and some testing, we discovered roundworms were likely behind her diarrhea. We also found a little ear infection that needed some attention!

Bear came to see us after his family noticed some concerning urinary changes at home. Since urinary issues can become uncomfortable quickly, they brought this sweet boy in to be checked. šŸ¾

Thankfully, Bear was bright, alert, and acting like his normal baby-boy self during his visit. Our team ran testing, helped keep him comfortable, and started a plan to support his urinary health.

Bear headed home with medication, monitoring instructions, and a plan to follow up with his regular veterinarian to make sure everything improves the way it should.

Sweet Cocoa came to see us after having some tummy troubles, including vomiting and not wanting to eat like usual. Her family also noticed she had been licking and chewing at her paws more, so they wanted to make sure she was feeling okay. šŸ¾

Cocoa was such a sweet and tolerant girl during her visit. Our team ran testing, gave her supportive care to help settle her stomach, and also helped address her itchy paws so she could feel more comfortable.

She headed home with a bland diet plan, medication to help with her tummy, and topical care for her skin.

Weā€™re wishing this precious senior girl lots of rest, a happier belly, and much more comfortable paws ahead āœØ

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.

The good news? Maggie is feeling much better! Her swelling has gone down, and she's back to her happy, playful selfā€”just the way we like to see our patients. šŸ’™
