My name is Jennifer Sanchez and I am the owner of Diamonds in the RUFF. I have been grooming for over 13 years and in 2020 I decided to open my own little shop. Diamonds in the RUFF is your one stop grooming salon for all your pets needs.

Hi everyone! It’s Kylyn, and I am who will be taking on Jenn’s schedule while she is out! 💗

Jenn has taught me so much throughout my grooming journey, and I truly wouldn’t be the groomer I am today without her guidance, patience, and knowledge. I was lucky enough to learn from an amazing teacher, and I’m beyond thankful that she trusts me with her schedule and, most importantly, with all of your sweet pups. 🐾✂️

I’ll be the first to admit that I may not be as fast as Jenn just yet, but I promise that every dog who walks through the door will receive the same love, patience, care, and attention I give my own. My goal is to make sure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. 🥰

I truly appreciate each and everyone of you who are trusting me in caring for your pups while your original groomer is taking care of herself! 🥹💕

Today was my last day at the shop for a little while, and honestly, my heart is having a hard time wrapping my head around it. ❤️‍🩹

September 29th, I’ll be stepping away from Diamonds in the RUFF while I have major surgery and take some much-needed time to heal. I know it’s only temporary, but walking away from something that has become such a huge part of my life is emotional in ways I didn’t expect.

Diamonds in the RUFF has never felt like “just a job” to me. I’ve poured my heart into these four walls. I’ve watched this little business grow, watched my team grow, and have had the absolute privilege of loving so many of your dogs over the years.

And those dogs… they really do become part of your life. ❤️

Some of them I’ve known for years. I know their personalities, their quirks, the way they act when they walk through the door, and the ones who still act like they’re not sure they want to be there until they see me. 😂 I’ve watched puppies grow into adults, celebrated new babies with families, and gotten to know so many of you along the way.

You’ve trusted me with your babies, and that trust means more to me than you probably realize.

So yes… leaving is hard.

But I also know that Diamonds in the RUFF is in incredibly good hands while I’m gone. ❤️ Kylyn will be handling the schedule, and my amazing team will continue doing what they do best,loving your dogs and taking care of all of you.

I’ve spent years building this shop, and one of the things I’m most proud of is the team standing beside me today. Knowing they are going to keep things running, take care of our clients, and love your pups makes it possible for me to step away and focus on getting better.

For once, I have to let myself be taken care of.

I have to slow down.

I have to heal.

And I’m going to try really hard to do that… although if you know me, you already know I’ll probably be sneaking into the shop when I’m supposed to be resting. 😂❤️‍🩹 So don’t be surprised if you see me pop in for a visit, check on my girls, and most importantly, get some puppy kisses.

Cold weather doesn’t mean grooming should stop! Longer coats still need regular care to prevent mats and tangles.

🪮 Brush regularly, all the way to the skin.

✂️ Ask your groomer to keep feet, face, sanitary areas, and trouble spots trimmed and easier to manage at home.

💧 Dry your pup thoroughly after snow or rain.

🧥 Check for mats under sweaters, especially around the legs and armpits.

🐶 Stay on a regular grooming schedule to keep your dog comfortable and their coat healthy.

One of the biggest gifts you can give your puppy is teaching them that grooming is a normal, safe, and positive part of life. ❤️✂️

Meet sweet Nova! 🥰 Today was her 3rd groom, and the difference from her very first visit has been absolutely night and day!

Her first groom was all about introducing her to the sounds, smells, tools, table, dryer, handling, and everything that comes with being at the salon. She was learning, and we were learning what worked best for her.

Now, look at her! 🥹 She is becoming more comfortable, more confident, and more cooperative with each visit.

Puppies don’t automatically know how to behave for a groom. They have to learn it! The earlier we start, the more opportunities they have to build positive experiences and confidence before they’re full-grown.

Some people come into your life as employees, but over the years, they become so much more than that. ❤️

Kylyn has been with me for several years now, and I’ve had the absolute privilege of watching her grow from a fresh-out-of-high-school bather into the talented groomer and amazing woman she is today. She has now been grooming for over two years, and watching her learn, grow, overcome challenges, and build her own life has made me incredibly proud.

Her love and experience with animals started long before she ever walked through the doors of Diamonds in the RUFF. Kylyn has been showing animals through FFA for years, and her passion for animals has always been a huge part of who she is. Grooming is more than just a job for her—it’s something she genuinely loves.

And while I’ve gotten to watch her grow professionally, I’ve also gotten to watch her grow personally. I’ve watched her get married, start a family, and become a mama. 🥹❤️ It’s crazy to think about how much life has changed since that young girl first started with me.

Kylyn will always hold such a special place in my heart. She’s someone I will always be proud of, and I’m so thankful that our paths crossed all those years ago.

And now… she’s back home! 🥰

Many of you have probably seen this familiar face around the shop! Christina has been one of the faces you’ve come to know and love at Diamonds in the RUFF for over a year, and we are so blessed to have her as part of our team.

Christina is a certified groomer who puts her heart and soul into everything she does. She is hardworking, dedicated, and always striving to grow—not just as a groomer, but as a person. She is passionate about continuing her education and learning new skills so she can provide the very best care for your pups. ✂️🐶

When she’s not at the shop, Christina is working hard on training her own dog, Reina. Her dedication to her craft and her willingness to keep learning are just a few of the things that make her so special. We are so proud of the groomer she is becoming and so thankful to have her on our team. 💜

We are so excited to introduce one of the newest members of the Diamonds in the RUFF family — Kaila! 💜🐾

If you’ve met Kaila, you already know she is a ball of energy with a heart of GOLD! She is spunky, outgoing, and absolutely loves animals. She has been grooming for a few years and is continuing to grow her skills while working toward her grooming certification and furthering her education. ✂️🐶

Kaila also has a way of making EVERYONE feel welcome. She doesn’t know a stranger and you can pretty much guarantee you’ll be greeted with a big smile and a “Hey babe!” when you walk through our doors! 😂💕

She loves every person and every pup that comes into the salon, and she takes pride in making sure your furry family members feel safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re with us. 🐾❤️

🐾 MEET ANNA & GYPSY! 🐾

We wanted to take a moment to introduce you to one of the smiling faces behind the scenes at Diamonds in the RUFF! 💜

Anna is our bather, and if you’ve met her, you already know that her smile can light up an entire room! She has one of the kindest souls, and she loves every single pup that walks through our doors as if she’s known them their whole life. 🥰🐶

Anna has a big heart for dogs and has her sights set on becoming a certified groomer soon! We are so excited to watch her learn, grow, and chase that dream. ✂️🐾

And then there’s Gypsy. 💜

Gypsy is Anna’s rescue pup… but her story actually started right here at our shop! Someone dumped Gypsy at the salon, and it didn’t take long for Anna to fall completely in love with her. She knew Gypsy belonged with her, so she took her home—and the rest is history. 🥹

Now these two are two peas in a pod! 🫛🐶 They’re pretty much inseparable, and we couldn’t imagine Diamonds in the RUFF without Anna and her sweet Gypsy girl.

We’re so lucky to have them both! 💜🐾
