🐾 Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾
To round out our week, we’re celebrating Jessica Lehnhausen! Jessie is a 2010 graduate of Rockford Career College and has been part of the RVS family for most of the years since. Many of those years were spent right alongside our doctors during long days and nights working cattle at the salebarn or out on farm calls, but she certainly enjoys seeing all our small animal patients as well.
Her interests in veterinary medicine include wound care, dentistry, and both large and small animal nursing. She is also our resident expert on all things health paper and VFD (Veterinary Feed Directive)!
Jess brings her steady, patient nature as well as a wealth of experience, a willingness to help, and a calm presence that we are so grateful to have on our team. 🐮🐶🐱
Outside of the clinic, Jessica wears many hats as a wife and mom. When she’s not busy at RVS, you might find her tending her vegetable garden, canning in her outdoor kitchen, crocheting, volunteering with the Girl Scouts, or cheering on her daughter at softball games. All that to say, the one activity she'd enjoy more of a is a few more hours of Zzzs!😴 She’s also a proud pet mom to numerous fur babies—and somehow, over the years, has adopted a couple clinic cats who had worn out their welcome! 😹❤️
Jess, thank you for your years of dedication, your knowledge, your compassion, and all the ways you go above and beyond for our patients and clients. We are glad to have you as part of the RVS family! ❤️
