I love posting pictures of our sweet little patients and it is my life’s passion to care for your beloved furry family members. However, this is a time when Silence is Complicity. Or, as Martin Luther King stated, Silence is Betrayal. These are not political statements but rather statements about kindness and decent humanity. I am from Minnesota. I earned my veterinary degree from the University of MN in St Paul. The horrors that my home state is dealing with has shook me to my core. My heart is broken. So, at this point, may my crime be compassion. I am not fine. Our country is not fine. The injustice and trauma that Minnesota is dealing with, along with so many communities in our country, is truly appalling. Our animal friends are also being torn apart from their families. They are victims too. When entire communities lose their sense of safety and belonging, it breaks something in all of us. Good people shouldn’t have to fight so hard for well being and respect. I stand for Compassion over Cruelty, Equality for All, and Free Speech. We need to Get ICE out of our Neighborhoods. Release the Epstein Files (all of them). Save our Parks. Protect our Environment. Make Peace not War. Make Healthcare Affordable. Stop Supporting the Oligarchs. Support true Justice for All. BRING KINDNESS BACK

Case of the Monday’s 😆
Remi was sedated for Stem Cell and ozone therapy. Even though it may not look like it in this picture 🤪, she was very happy when she woke up and did really good during her recovery. We treated Remi for bilaterally torn ACLs. A very common injury in active dogs.

Annual and bi-annual exams are important for the health of our pets. Many illnesses go undiagnosed because “they’re acting fine”.
But through routine lab work and physical exams we can catch small problems before they’re bigger, irreversible problems.
Be proactive with their health, because they depend on US!
