A belated happy birthday to our fluffy receptionist! 🥳🐾

She takes her job as official greeter very seriously, hopping up at the counter to welcome everyone who walks in. Her paychecks come in the form of pets and attention, and she’s always happy to pose for a picture, especially when Jackie (her mom) gives her a fun new color! 💕💚

🐩✨ Jackie’s First Grooming Competition! ✨🐩

Yesterday, Jackie competed in her very first grooming competition at CPPGA CaliGroom with Darla, a 13-month-old Standard Poodle.

While she didn’t place this time, that wasn’t the goal. She entered to learn, gain experience, and receive feedback from judges and fellow competitors, and she did exactly that.

Darla’s young (youngest in the floor by far), puppy coat and full tail presented some extra challenges, but Jackie received compliments on her work, learned a ton, and left feeling even more excited for the next competition.

We’re so proud of her for stepping outside her comfort zone and continuing to grow her skills. The best groomers never stop learning. 💙🐾

🔥 It’s officially FLOOF SEASON 🔥

If your double coated dog is leaving tumbleweeds around the house, panting more, or exploding fur every time you pet them… it’s probably time for a good deshed! ☀️🐾
This sweet tripod husky mix was SO ready to get all that packed undercoat out and feel lighter for the warmer weather. A good deshed helps remove all that loose dead coat trapped underneath so the coat can breathe and function the way it’s supposed to. ✨

Less shedding
Less overheating
Less fur explosions in your house 😂

• Keeping your dog clean and fresh between haircuts
• Reducing shedding (hello, less fur in your house 🙌)
• Nail trims, ear cleaning, and a good scrub
• That soft, fluffy, just-left-the-salon feeling

Some dogs come in regularly just for baths, and it makes a huge difference in their coat and comfort 🫧
