What is something you wish you had done when visiting somewhere and didn’t do? One regret I had is that while we were stationed in Hawaii I never hiked Diamond Head.

A lot of places require advanced reservations these days, and they do run out of reservations. Places that you may have been able to get up and go to in the past, have changed the way you can visit.

We waited until a couple of days before our trip due to plans being adjusted last minute, and found reservations were scarce, so we booked 4 PM and hoped for the best. I had hoped for a 6 AM start to beat the heat, but those cooler morning slots were long gone.

We went for it anyway, and it was completely worth it! Just remember to bring a ton of water and enjoy the view!
