🩷Jaslyn - A054958🩷

I know it’s hard to come to a shelter and see a dog this nervous and think about taking them home with you …especially if they’re like Jaslyn and like to hide under their bed so you can’t see them at all! But those dogs are the ones that need you the most!

Despite everyone’s best efforts, animal shelters are loud, overwhelming, and stressful - far from the cozy homes they deserve. It’s a lot for any animal - it’s actually crazier that ALL shelter pets aren’t nervous.

The was a dog appears when you walk by their kennel is rarely a good representation of their personality, and Jaslyn is proof of that!

She actually really enjoys attention and walks. So what if she’s a little nervous? We know once she finds an owner to calm her own, they’ll become her whole world. She just needs someone to be patient and teach her to trust!

You could be the change Jaslyn needs. Just give her a chance, and help her discover just how good life can be outside of the shelter.

🍝Tortellini - A054429🍝

This gorgeous young lady is named Tortellini. At just 2 years old, Tortellini came into the shelter nursing 4 young kittens who have all since found homes. Now it's Mama Tortellini's turn for a happily ever after!

Tortellini doesn't need much to be happy, just a comfy home that appreciates her mild-mannered spirit. Her foster describes her as independent, clever, playful and very food motivated. She even knows how to sit for treats! Tortellini can be affectionate, but she isn't much of a cuddler and prefers gentle pets and scratches from her favorite humans.

Tortellini is currently staying in a short-term foster home while she waits for the furever home of her dreams. Think that could be you? Give us a call at 281-342-1512 and we will helo you get in touch with her fosters for a meet and greet or email [email protected] to learn more!

💐Jaslyn - A054958💐

Jaslyn is a medium sized girl with a soft heart and so much potential! She just needs a little patience and reassurance.

Jaslyn comes across as super shy at first – but who can blame her? The shelter is a stressful environment, and it’s always so loud it’s hard for her to relax. When you walk by her kennel you may think it’s completely empty at first because she wants to spend most of her time tucked under her bead. But there’s such a sweet surprise waiting down there for you!

As soon as you walk into her kennel she peaks her head out to investigate you, and before you know it she’ll let you pet her!

Despite her nerves, Jaslyn is easy to leash up and she walks well on a leash. She seems most confident in the play yards, away from all the loud shelter noises. We know she’s well on her way to trusting people as, even when loose, she likes to follow you around and stay close to you. She isn’t the kind of girl who demands attention though, she’s happy to just be in the background of your life.

A quiet home and a kind person willing to let her blossom at her own pace would make all of the difference for Jaslyn! She’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place, and she’d love to have someone help her discover just how good life can be and boost her confidence.

Do you know me?

This sweet scruffy boy was found in the 7600 block of Randon School Rd in Rosenberg today.

He seems well care for, and already knows how to sit on command, but sadly he had no owner information on him.

Please reach out if you know where Robert belongs!!
