Today is a bittersweet day for our Bailey family. 💕 Our fabulous Practice Manager, Kahlil, is spreading her wings and heading off on a new adventure! While we are truly sad to see her go, we couldn’t be more excited for all that this next chapter has in store for her. Kahlil has been such a wonderful part of our team, and her hard work, heart, and dedication will be greatly missed.

Please join us in wishing Kahlil all the very best on her next venture! We’re cheering you on every step of the way, Kahlil! You will always be part of the Bailey family. ❤️

Here is a message from Kahlil-❤️

After 6.5 incredible years, the time has come for me to say goodbye to a chapter of my life that has meant more to me than I could ever adequately put into words.

Serving as your Hospital Manager has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful clients, love on your incredible pets, celebrate happy moments with you, and walk alongside you during some of the most difficult ones.

This hospital has been so much more than just a workplace to me. The people, the pets, the clients, and the memories have become such a meaningful part of my life.

While I am incredibly excited for what comes next, leaving after 6.5 years is certainly bittersweet. I am so grateful for every client who trusted us with the care of their beloved animals and for allowing me to be a small part of your lives.

Thank you for your kindness, your trust, your patience, your support, and for making these past years so special. I will carry so many wonderful memories with me into this next chapter.

Although this is goodbye to my role here, it will never be goodbye to the memories and relationships that have meant so much to me.

Diesel spent 10 days in our hospital receiving intensive treatment and supportive care for severe aspiration pneumonia. Diesel’s case required close monitoring and dedicated care throughout his hospitalization.

Diesel has now been home for a full week, and we’re happy to report that he continues to do well! Seeing a patient go from being dangerously ill in the hospital to happily back at home is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

After spending much time both caring and worrying about him, his mom - our very own Dr. Cheetham - is understandably happy to have her boy back home where he belongs. ❤️

Welcome home, Diesel. You fought hard, buddy. We’re so happy you’re doing well! 🐶❤️

Not only is it Ahleah’s birthday, but today also marks her first day in her new role as our Assistant Hospital Administrator! 🥳

Ahleah has truly worked her way up from the kennel team, learning every corner of this hospital along the way. She knows the ins and outs of this place like the back of her hand, and her experience, dedication, and knowledge make her an incredible choice for this new opportunity.

Please help us wish Ahleah an amazing birthday as well as a warm welcome in her new role!🎉❤️

The 17-year-old girl who started on the kennel crew team would never have believed where this journey would take her. From kennel crew to room technician, to teching, to lead tech, and now to assistant hospital administrator, each role has given me valuable experience and helped shape the person and leader I am today.
Bailey’s has been more than just a workplace it has been a place where I have grown, learned, built meaningful relationships, and discovered strengths I never knew I had. I am grateful for the people who have supported and believed in me throughout this journey.
As I step into this new chapter, I am excited to bring my experience, passion, and love for Bailey’s together to support our team, strengthen our hospital, and continue building a place where our staff, clients, and patients feel valued and cared for.
I am incredibly proud of how far I have come and honored to continue growing with the Bailey Vet family.

Today we remember the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and left paw prints on our hearts. ❤️

They may no longer be by our side, but the love, companionship, laughter, and countless memories they gave us will always remain.

For some, today may bring comfort as we think of the happy years we shared. For others, it may bring a fresh wave of heartache for a beloved pet who is deeply missed. Either way, we hope you know that those feelings are a reflection of just how much they meant to you.
