Annie had our first lamb of the season. A beautiful little ewe lamb. Betty came over to congratulate her. Sweetest this, they rubbed their heads together and Betty moved on.

I don't share as much about our sheep, the tend to be a little more on their own unlike the goats who are nearly in our laps. I will say though they are so low maintenance and make no trouble. We just welcomed momma Honey and her 2 baby girls named Cinnamon and Spice. Honey came from the same farm as our first hair sheep ewe and our ram. Shes very sweet and a wonderful momma 🥰

I'm going to start highlighting an employee of the month here on the farm. For the month of March I'm selecting Maggie as our employee of the month. Here's what I can tell you about Maggie:

Maggie was our first pick of all the goats for our farm, she is lovingly referred to as "sneak attack" as she's always silently watching for her opportunity to sneak in past you in the hay shed, rabbit pen or front yard. Maggie has a quiet assurance about her that let's the herd know she's not about their nonsense. If Maggie had a quote to represent her it would be: "Check yoself before you wreck yoself fool."
Maggie most recent notable accomplishment has been raising quintoplets and loving each one of them, letting them climb all over her and countless hours of nursing. Way to go Maggie, we are proud you our on our team!
