My first show ever and 5 years into my taxidermy career. I took a couple commercial pieces with me and entered them into the professional division after some encouragement from peers to attend.

I am so glad I took the time to go, learn, and improve my craft. A big thank you to the entire Oregon Taxidermy Association for putting on the show. The judges were fantastic and not only pointed out areas i knew I was struggling in, but also gave the info on how to correct it.

I learned so much in the time I was there at the provided seminars as well as just from so many other taxidermists I had never met. I am very excited to take what I learned back to the shop and apply it to better improve the pieces my customers will take home.
