Zisa came into heat a month early.... which leads to some scheduling issues for the stud we had planned out, so she will be bred to Preacher again instead! Official announcement coming soon with estimated due date & go home date!

Unfortunately it looks like neither girl is pregnant 😭. Zisa for sure has no babies so she likely absorbed the pregnancy. We are doing a recheck on Phoebe July 2nd just to make sure. We are so very bummed out right now. We will try again around Sept for Zisa. It's not always rainbows when it comes to breeding. We have lost close to 10k in stud fees, vetting & travel for 3 failed breedings on 3 different girls with 3 different studs in a row. So anyone who thinks we are in this for the money is dead wrong. So now we wait for July 2nd to know without a doubt that Phoebe doesn't have any babies either.

Zisa is 4 weeks along, Phoebe is 2 weeks along. I would be shocked if Zisa isn't pregnant at this point. She's getting a bump and acting like she has for prior pregnancies. This is Zisa's 3rd and final litter, bittersweet for all of us. She is such an amazing momma and really the best dog. Phoebe will be confirmed June 19th, I feel like it is taking forever to get here. The dogs are loving this warmer weather, winter sure drug on for northwestern Minnesota this year which delayed the new fence & play yard, that will finally be starting next week.
