"The mean and angry oldest daughter." Yeah, that's what they call her now.
The one who stopped showing up. The one who cut off toxic family. The one with "attitude" and "no respect."
But no one talks about why.
She was the one who was forced to grow up too fast. Who spent her childhood walking on eggshells, putting everyone else first. Who was independent, when really, she had no choice.
Now she's grown. With a family of her own. And she's choosing peace over people-pleasing. Boundaries over guilt.
Healing over history.
Call her mean. Call her angry.
But she's doing what no one else was brave enough to do-breaking the cycle so her own kids don't have to recover from the same pain she did.
That's not anger.
That's strength.
