Rocking Paw Dog Training and Kennels Rocking Paw Dog Training and Kennels is a new business to serve the Lubbock and hub city area in all their dog training needs and boarding.

Rocking Paw Dog Training and Kennels opened its doors in December of 2015. Built on our 10 acres of private property includes 10 private kennel suites and a training center. We have a fenced in 1 1/2 acre field for the dogs to have off leash time and also used for agility and training. Our training services include household obedience in 5 levels, therapy dog training , board and train, agility cl

asses, scent work classes and freestyle dance. Boarding services are available as well. Jolynn Payne is the owner and trainer and is certified through the CCPDT. She has a background in training dogs back to 1992, and has been professionally training since 2011. our method of training is LIMA, least intrusive minimally aversive. We want to train your dog to do what you want, not punish them fir what you dont want!

Good morning friends!
We have moved the start of our puppy class to Monday August 31st at 6pm.
Our classes are in an air conditioned training center. We train using positive reinforcement. We will be helping you train your puppy to focus on you, impulse control games and enrichment games, sit, down, stays with duration and verbal distraction, leash walking, sitting with greeting, mat, and send to mat, 2 recalls, drop, leave it and more!

Dog Days of August!
We are offering 2 classes this month

Puppy: Monday August 17th at 6pm . Ages 10 weeks to under 8 months. Cost $175. 8 weeks of in person lessons (along with some pre-class homework in a facebook group) We will be teaching using positive reinforcement (no chokes, prongs or e-collars). We cover A LOT in puppy class! We call this "elementary school". We will be helping train your dog to sit, down, stay with verbal distraction and duration, focus games, impulse control games, walking on a leash, sit with greeting, mat, send to mat, leave it, drop it and more!

Basic: Thursday September 3rd at 7pm. Ages over 8 months. Cost $175. 8 weeks of in peosn lessons (along with some pre-class homework in a facebook group)
This class is taught everything that is in puppy class, just older dogs.

To sign up for either class please message us with your dogs name age and breed and your email and phone number!
