We are proud to offer two exceptional working retrievers, Willie and Macheaux, for stud service. Both dogs have proven themselves to be outstanding companions, competitive athletes, and reliable partners in the field.
These magnificent dogs are cherished members of our home, living indoors with us, and are currently focusing their competitive energies on the demanding Hunt Test circuit.
Shared Achievements & Proven Genetics
Willie and Macheaux both demonstrate phenomenal versatility, drive, and trainability, achieving distinction across competitive and practical environments:
• Elite Performance: Both dogs have excelled in Field Trials (FT), Hunt Tests (HT), and in the hunting blind, proving their versatility and instinct.
• Master National Finishers: They are coming off a perfect season and successfully completed the prestigious Master National Retriever Club (MNRC) event in their very first attempt—a significant testament to their talent, consistency, and temperament.
• In-Home Temperament: While highly competitive in the field, both Willie and Macheaux live in the home with us, possessing the desirable temperament necessary for an exceptional family companion.
Willie: Available for Stud
Willie offers proven genetics from a perfect season, providing a blend of high performance and a cooperative temperament. He is available to approved bi***es.
Macheaux: Available for Stud

What a way to cap off an incredible season! 🐾🏆

First and foremost, congratulations to all our amazing clients on their dogs’ success this year—whether it was in the hunt test game, qualifying for the Master National, or shining in the hunting blind. We’re truly grateful to each and every one of you for trusting us to train your best friends. Your support means everything.

This season, we took a small but mighty crew of 7 dogs to Giddings, TX to compete at the national level alongside 1,200 of the finest dogs from across the country. We’re proud to say every one of our dogs made it to the 5th series, with Chase bowing out on a tough final bird in a challenging test.

Good evening MCR faithful,

I just wanted to say how proud I am to represent y’all and I am honored that y’all are allowing me to run yalls dogs in this year’s MN!

We have trained all year for this moment and hopefully we can conquer the task at hand. It’s a steep mountain to climb but I feel that your dogs and I are prepared no matter what is thrown our way.

Regardless of the result this week y’all should be very proud of what yalls dogs have accomplished this year. Good luck to each and every one of you.

The MCR master crew is headed to Giddings,Tx in October!

We wrapped up the spring/early summer run in Butte,MT going 6/6 qualifying a few more dogs for the big show.
