Western Montana 🏔️
What a weekend! Western Montana gave us a busy, exciting, and incredibly rewarding test!

Huge thank you to the committee, judges, workers, and everyone who stepped in to help — your hard work kept everything running smoothly and made the event a success! 👏🏻

Congrats to everyone who came out and tackled a fun but challenging test!

Team MCR Highlights:
• Master: 13/14 on the weekend — big congrats to John and Terry for handling their own pups to passes!
• Nancy & Meg: 4/4 and finished their Junior title 🎉

Additional shoutout to Emily “Hot Shot” Noble & Uber: earned their Senior title AND their first Master pass — this team is going places 🔥

What a weekend. What a crew. Onward! 🐾

And just like that it’s back to the real world, couldn’t ask for better people to be surround by as we closed out this waterfowl season, thanks to and for having us out, the best guide in the game put us on birds daily! Missing it already and can’t wait for October to get here.

There’s something about the first sunrise of a new year that feels like a quiet promise 🌄

To everyone who has been part of our journey—whether you’ve trained with us, trusted us with your pups, or simply supported our mission—thank you! You’ve helped shape our story in ways big and small, and we’re deeply grateful! 🐶

As this new year begins, we’re stepping forward with hope, purpose, and a fresh commitment to helping dogs and their families grow together with confidence, understanding, and heart. May this sunrise mark the beginning of a year filled with progress, connection, and moments that truly matter—both on and off the training field!

Happy New Year from Mudd Creek Retrievers 🐶🦆🎆

Absolutely love getting texts like these from clients—but what’s even better is when they randomly meet at the boat launch, hunt their dogs together for the first time, and instantly hit it off! 🐕🦆
