June is National Foster a Pet Month!
There are so many reasons to foster:
**Fostering provides a safe and loving environment for animals who need to heal, grow, or get some extra TLC.
**Fostering saves the lives of neonate puppies and kittens.
**Fostering helps teach children the responsibility it takes to care for an animal and teaches them to help animals.
**Expenses are covered by the rescue or shelter agency.
**Foster homes helps animals transition from the stress of living at a shelter.
**Rescues and shelters could not do what they do without Foster Families!
**Fostering saves lives. Period.

Please share your Foster pets in the comments...please include the agency they are adoptable through. And thank you to all those who Foster. ❤️

National Adopt a Shelter Cat Month takes place every June. It coincides with the peak of "kitten season," when shelters are flooded with vulnerable cats and kittens needing homes. 🐱❤️

It is a nationwide initiative to encourage adoption, promote feline rescue, and raise awareness for shelter animals. 🐈‍⬛❤️

Adopting or fostering clears up shelter space, allowing organizations to rescue more animals in need. 🐈❤️

How to Participate:
Adopt a Feline: Find an adoptable pet at local shelters or rescues near you.
Become a Foster Parent: Fostering is a temporary but vital way to help shelter cats decompress in a home environment, freeing up critical shelter space.
Donate and Volunteer: Local shelters are always in need of funds, supplies, and volunteers. Check out your local facility's wishlist for items like blankets, towels, and food.
Spread the Word: Share the profiles of adoptable cats and kittens on your social media channels to increase their visibility.

Spring gardening tip: Check for pet hazards!

Lilies, tulips, azaleas, and daffodils are toxic to pets.

Fertilizers (even organic options) and cocoa mulch aren't pet safe either.

Know what's growing in your garden, read product labels, and call us with any concerns.

We wish you and your pets a safe and happy spring! 🌸🐶🌸🐱🌸
