This boy is such a happy boy, great with everyone and building his confidence every day. Ziggy is looking for someone who loves places that offer pup cups, its his new favorite.

He will.make such a great family companion, he loves his zoomies, but also likes his quiet cuddle time. He is up for adoption through our rescue A Tail of 4 Paws.

Look at these sweet pups coming into our rescue A Tail of 4 Paws. BIG SHOUT out to Darcy Linn for always taking great care of the pups and helping us get most of their vetting complete while out there. This helps tremendously for our fosters, fewer trips to the vet, as well this saves us quite a bit on cost at the vet. We truly appreciate her partnership with the rescue. Our biggest expense for our pups is the vetting.

Meet Marlon- Pyranees mix pup very shy, friendly, and loves all dogs. Learning what a leash is.

Meet Rusty( color tells you everything, Lol) such a cuddle bug who loves to give hugs. Very playful and didnt care when he met the kitties, even when they swatted him

Meet Rapunzel, she came to Darcy im such bad shap. We can't believe her transformation so quick. Just shows care and love goes a long way. Also very friendly and big time player. She was interested in the kitties, but no issues just excited.

Thank you Kelly, Phil, and Lauren for opening your homes to help save them and get them ready for their next journey finding their forever families.

More to come once they arrive and get settled.

This guy is such a goofball, Ziggy- he is about 6 months old pitty/boxer/ shepherd mix or lets say All American shelter dog. Ziggy was literally dumped in a crate with a note to find him a new owner. You would think he wouldn't like people, but its the complete opposite. He loves people and does well with dogs, we will share some pictures and videos. He has been with us for less than 3 weeks and completely vetted and ready for his forever family to come claim him ❤️

Here is a little info on Ziggy from his foster family.

✔️Happy, cuddly, oh so silly.
✔️Everything is new to him- so he is a little shy but warms up nicely
✔️Likes the crate- working on a scheduled routine
✔️Working on housebreaking and getting better each day
✔️Loves to sit outside and enjoy the day
✔️Quick learner, knows sit and give paw. Working on his other puppy behaviors like wait, no jump..
✔️Not one ounce of aggressive behavior.
✔️Loves to bring his blankets around the house
✔️He makes the craziest faces for the camera- you will see in this post LOL

Such a great boy and great age to bring into any family.

Liberty update, we finally received test results from her visit with the specialist/internist and the retest of thyroid....

Liberty update, we finally received test results from her visit with the specialist/internist and the retest of thyroid. She is really doing amazing and getting her hair/fur back. When she first came to us, she had so much hair loss in different areas, especially her tail, it had no hair-- take a look at these pictures❤️❤️

Liberty’s 2M antibody test was strongly positive, confirming masticatory muscle myositis (MMM) as the cause of her restricted mouth opening and severe loss of the chewing muscles.

We had to wait 2 to 3 weeks to get her off of the thyroid medicine as the specialist wanted to confirm if she has a thyroid issue or not because the initial test was when she first was brought in and very sick. We did get those test results and it was confirmed, so we have her on new dose to get this regulated, a retest will be done next month.

Now that we have the thyroid confirmed we are now able to start prednisone to suppress the immune reaction affecting her chewing muscles. In just 1 week we already have seen amazing results, this girl is a fighter!! You will see in one of her pictures we are able to get her mouth opened quite a bit, remember when she went in for her spay, they could not get a tube in for the anesthesia.

We still have the scheduled visit with a veterinary ophthalmologist, but they cant get us in until November, this is crazy
