Hey guys, I know everyone is wondering what's going on at South paws. I just wanted to let everyone know that we will not be continuing. We have had a ridiculous amount of responsibilities that have kept us from doing this the way we had started out with. My husbands mother lives with us and she has been bed ridden for sometime. We have been her primary care takers. Also I have developed allergies to yellow jackets and other bugs that are often found around our kennel so anytime I work the dogs and I get stung or bit puts me down for a few days. It's not good for us or the dogs. Despite our love for the breed we must do whats best for us and our dogs. It is better for them to find homes amongst our lovely doberman community where they can get the individual love and care they deserve that we are simply not able to keep up with anymore. It is imperative that each dog finds a loving committed home. This has been needing to happen. We appreciate everyone's interest in our babies. Thank you to anyone and everyone who is considering taking on the responsibility of one of our babies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Athena is truly a sweet girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves being outside, chasing squirrels, and exploring everything around her. She loves ALL food—even lettuce and blueberries!

Athena is a total people dog. She will always find a way to lean against you, sit right beside you, or simply be wherever you are. She loves her blankets and has the cutest habit of sucking on them. She also loves a good game of tug-of-war.

She is naturally protective and will always keep an eye on her home and her people. She is happiest when she can be by your side and feel like she is part of the family.

Athena does need to be the only dog in the home. She can become territorial and jealous when other dogs are receiving attention from her person, so she would thrive in a home where she doesn’t have to share her people with other dogs.

She is a beautiful Blue Doberman who has so much love to give. Athena deserves a home where she can be the center of someone’s world, be loved unconditionally, and have a person who will give her the same loyalty and devotion she gives them.

Meet chocolate. She is 2.5. She does best as a only dog. She tends to terrorize other dogs. She is very sweet and rides well in the car. She has basic manners. She's good with the kids. She doesn't like cats.

This girl has so much personality and a great nature. She will need training. She likes to smile and show her teefies. 😁 She will keep you laughing.

Legend (Tesla x Niko) he is 1.5. he is a sweet and friendly guy. He is a talker. He will need training. He has a moderate energy level and does well with kids and other animals. We haven't tested him with cats.
