Here is some amazing news from Jen Carson Dean! Jen is a super talented trainer and brilliant at it! Our own Cyndy Douan, MHDL participated in business consulting work and strategic planning with Jen to assist her in getting her dream off the ground.
We are super proud of her! There is a great need for reliable & properly trained and temperamented dogs to do this work. We fully support Jen’s work!!

Our UTI detection team! These ladies are learning to identify the presence of bacteria associated with urinary tract infections. They will be used as a tool in senior care settings to assist with the early detection of UTIs!

Two weeks ago, Esther Wallace wrote this beautiful training testimonial and posted it as a comment on our upcoming Basic Training Class announcement that we pinned at the top of our page.
We LOVE Ruby the Pomeranian and Esther! They have really done great work together!! Thank you for your kind words!!

Esther writes:
"Recently we took a trip and took Ruby with us
We paid for her flight $150 each way. There was a "Service Dog" on the same flight. Ruby was well behaved while walking through the airport, using assigned Dog Relief areas only
When we boarded the plane Ruby was placed in her bag under the seat. If she was a service dog she would have been allowed out but we followed the rules. We saw and heard the Service Dog throughout our flight. We allowed Ruby to peak out of her bag when leaving the plane and several flight attendants commented "didnt even know she was on board" That's what we wanted.
At baggage claim Ruby stayed in attention position. The Service Dog? She was trying to jump on and lick other passengers and even darted over to play with Ruby (Ruby didnt move or give it attention) the dog barked at Ruby to play. Ruby moved to the other side of me. I said "Ruby" then pointed to her to sit, then palm down for her to go to her down position. She did exactly as I commanded with just hand movements! People around us clapped and many others commented "she acts like the Service Dog!" We were so stinking proud of her training!
We had so many instances throughout our trip that I was so proud of how Ruby handled them. They all are the result of putting Ruby through Basic Training and a few more classes.
If youre considering it? DO IT! Not just for you but the safety of your dog and others around you. Georgia Dog Gym and their trainers are top tier and worth every penny we've spent going through their training."

Congratulations to Draco for graduating his Basic Training Private Lessons today!!!
Draco was adopted last March from the Fulton County Animal Shelter. He came to Georgia Dog Gym exhibiting some reactivity, anxiety, and fear of people and unfamiliar situations. Draco has made huge improvements and is now much more relaxed, calm, and comfortable as a result of our rehabilitation and training protocols.
Draco’s photos always seem to make him look mopey, so we decided it’s because he looks like he has no eyebrows. 🤣 We fixed that with a dry-erase marker - to add a few eyebrows! 😁 He was great to entertain our silliness!!
Good Boy, Draco!! ❤️❤️❤️
