Our resident shelter dog was out on a walk with a volunteer, got loose, and was last seen near Tompkins St. and Court Street at 2pm, 6/1.

Good Sunday afternoon from Luke’s Hidden Haven! We would like you to meet Freckles. Freckles is a resident in the sanctuary. She came from Qatar where she was found abandoned in a cement block bunker with no food or water. Freckles loves life in the sanctuary where she gets lots of walks and love. She does have problems with her liver and is on daily medication. This sweet girl is looking for a a sponsor to spoil her some more. For $10 a month you can be that someone! Say good morning to Petra! Petra has recently lost his lifetime companion Rusty. They both came to Luke’s Hidden Haven when their owner decided to return to Russia. Petra is a beautiful Saluki who likes to hang out in the kitchen of the sanctuary with his new friends. He enjoys walks and lots of attention. Luke’s Hidden Haven’s special boy Pete has found his furever home! Our volunteer, Kendra, fell in love with him, and that was that! He was going home with her. As you can tell from the pictures, it is going very well. Pete and Kendra are very, very happy. Thank you, Kendra for seeing just how special Pete is.

Still missing from Bowling Alley Rd in Wyalusing. Scrim, a Black Lab mix has been missing since Thursday night on Bowling Alley Rd in Wyalusing. He normally is home by now. If anyone has seen him or has him, please call 607-765-1073. He is super loved and is missed so much! He’s very nice and friendly but he may not come right up to you at first. He’s not aggressive at all, and he loves playing with other dogs! He has a blue collar. There is a $500 reward if found! The owners are very worried about him. He is so loved and cared for by everyone he meets. If anyone knows anything at all please 607-765-1073
