Pet emergencies don’t always happen during regular business hours. Accidents, sudden illnesses, and unexpected changes can happen at any time—and knowing where to turn can make all the difference. ❤️

Not every itchy pet needs emergency care, but sometimes itching is a sign of something more serious.

Seek veterinary care right away if your pet experiences:
- Facial swelling or hives
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe pain or sensitivity
- Open wounds from scratching
- A rapidly spreading rash or skin irritation
- Pus, foul odor, or other signs of infection
- Lethargy or fever along with skin problems

These symptoms may indicate a severe allergic reaction, infection, or another condition that shouldn't wait.

When in doubt, it's always okay to call your veterinary team. They can help determine whether your pet should be seen by your primary veterinarian, an urgent care hospital, or an emergency service.

Early intervention can make all the difference.

Did you know that dogs can be blood donors too? In emergency situations, donated blood can make a lifesaving difference for a critically ill or injured patient. 🩸🏥

Meet Maeve, one of our very own employee pets—and one of our incredible canine blood donors! 🐶❤️

Maeve helps give other dogs a second chance when they need it most. Whether a patient has experienced severe blood loss, trauma, certain illnesses, or needs emergency surgery, having canine blood available can be incredibly important.

We couldn’t be more proud of this sweet girl and her very important job. 🥹🐾 Maeve may not know it, but every donation she gives could help save a life.

💗🐾 Josie Jo, You’re Still on Our Minds & in Our Hearts! 🐾💗

A few weeks ago, the sweetest little girl named Josie Jo came through our doors, and let’s just say… she left a BIG impression on all of us. 🥹🐶💕

From her adorable face to all that irresistible puppy love, Josie Jo quickly became one of those patients we just couldn’t stop thinking about after she went home.

And of course, we can’t forget her amazing tech, Jocie, who gave her plenty of love, cuddles, and care during her visit. 🩷🩺🐾

Some patients come into our lives for a short time but leave paw prints on our hearts that last much longer. Josie Jo is definitely one of those patients. 🐾💕

We hope you’re doing wonderfully, sweet Josie Jo! Keep spreading that puppy love wherever you go. 🥰🐶✨
