Closing Out Barrel Season 🤎🏁

And just like that, we’ve wrapped up another barrel season! I couldn’t be more proud of these kids and everything they’ve accomplished this year.

And of course, none of this happens without the people behind the scenes. A HUGE thank you to the parents who spend countless hours driving, helping, encouraging, spending money, and making sure these kids have every opportunity to succeed. Thank you for trusting me with your kids. I truly appreciate every one of you.

And to everyone else who makes this possible—our barn family, friends, supporters, and everyone who has helped haul, hold horses, lend a hand, take pictures, give advice, or simply cheer from the sidelines—thank you. It takes a village, and I’m incredibly grateful for ours. 🤎

This season wasn’t just about barrels, times, or prizes. It was about hard work, horsemanship, confidence, friendship, and learning how to handle both the wins and the losses.

I’m so proud of these girls and SO excited to see where they go from here. This is only the beginning.

Thank you, 2026 barrel season.

What an amazing day we had at the barrel race over at Cox Arena!

Despite the summer heat, all three of my students rode with confidence, determination, and huge smiles. We had two incredible horses, lead-line runs, and plenty of memories made. Every rider stepped up, overcame challenges, and gave it their all—and I couldn’t be prouder.

Seeing our Bullet boy back in the barrel arena again was especially special. Even though this time was all about the lead-line runs, having him back where he belongs was such a blessing. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible—our support system, volunteers, and especially the wonderful parents and families who spent the day cheering these kids on. Your encouragement means the world.

We left the arena tired, hot, and full of smiles. I can’t wait to see what the next race has in store!

We’re two barrel races into the season, and it’s safe to say the SG Team is off to an awesome start!

Huge thank you to my support system and my student’s family for everything you do—it truly means so much. And of course, a special shoutout to our girl Quinn for taking such great care of these kiddos and keeping them safe ❤️

We’re so excited for the next round of races and any students added to the team—bring it on!

Our temporary team member, Conway, has been taking really well to his training during his stay with us. Can’t wait to see how he continues to progress while in our care.
Yay, Conway!
