Due to a number of folks being out of town or having prior commitments, we have decided to postpone our Ranch Sorting Clinic originally scheduled for Saturday, May 30th. A new date will be announced once finalized, and we look forward to getting everyone together soon.

Come get ready for our next sorting jackpot. We have few spots open for the sorting clinic on May 30. If you are new to sorting, we are running a #2 Incentive in both the Adult and Youth classes for the jackpot. Which means there is a side pot if both the riders on a team are Beginners (comfortable sorting no faster than a trot). Here is the date for our next ranch sorting clinic. We will be having a two mini clinics, one for Juniors and another for Adults. For the adults, Empty Saddle Club members will have priority to sign up. After next Wednesday if spots are still open, they will become available to Non-Members. The clinic is open to all levels of sorters, and we are excited for everyone to learn the sport. To sign up please text Sean at (310) 418-4583.

Congratulations to today's Empty Saddle Club sorting winners.

For the adults, winning the class with 20 head in a 98.26 earning $230/sorter was Kevin Fitzpatrick and Sandy Sivert. Followed by Cody Arbuckle and Kevin Fitzpatrick winning $150/sorter with 16 head in a 100.92.

For the Youth, winning the class with 10 head in a 113.11 was Chase Tydlaska and Hannah Duimestra earining $75/sorter.

We look forward to seeing everyone at next months sorting. Series standings have been posted. Also a reminder that this years standings will be determined by the number of cattle sorted for the whole series.

Our sorting clinic at the end of the month is full, but auditors are more than welcome to watch at no charge. Come out and learn some tips for the 2026 summer sorting series that will begin the following weekend. If there is enough interest we will schedule another clinic as well as a youth/junior clinc.
