My Dad will be missed. There's not much more I can say beyond what's written in his obituary, except that everything I've ever learned about working with my hands came from him - along with my love for the outdoors.

When I started this taxidermy dream over 12 years ago, he was with me every step of the way. He helped design my logo, built a custom table for my fleshing machine, found the building for my shop, and even helped wire the electric, insulate, and finish it out. All of which I still use to this very day.

Here's a few photos of those moments - the kind of steady support that made all the difference. I'll always carry his lessons and his spirit in everything I do.

Beautiful early-season buck on a floor pedestal! 🦌

One of my favorite things about short-haired, early-season deer is the incredible detail you can see in the hide. The colors, hair patterns, and natural features really stand out.

This buck makes for an awesome floor pedestal, and I really enjoyed bringing all that detail to life on this mount!

Awesome grizzly skull! This one was cleaned by the customer before it came to us, but it was missing several teeth and had a broken lower jaw. Thankfully, my friend David at Heronhead Outdoors had replacement teeth on hand, and we were able to repair the jaw. After a little whitening to finish it off, this old bear is looking great again!

Bobcats have always been one of my favorite animals to work on. There’s just something fascinating about them. Ever since I was a kid, knowing that they are roaming our woods has been the coolest thing to me.

I’m going to detour from the usual taxidermy content for a moment to give my beautiful wife the Valentine’s Day shoutout she deserves!

I am so blessed to call you my Valentine. A love like ours only comes once in a lifetime, and I never take that for granted. You work tirelessly at your corporate job to help support our family, yet you still somehow find the time and energy to get the kids everywhere they need to be, keep our home running smoothly, and put a home-cooked meal on the table every evening.

Most of all, you make me feel like the most loved and supported man in the world. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. I am beyond grateful for you.
