🐾❤️ Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! ❤️🐾

This week, we're celebrating the incredible people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our mission possible!

Together, our dedicated teams in St. Louis and Rolla have helped provide spay and neuter services to more than 160,000 pets! That's an incredible number of lives touched, and it wouldn't be possible without the compassion, skill, and hard work of our staff.

Working in high-volume veterinary medicine isn't easy. It's physically demanding and can be emotionally challenging. Our team spends long days on their feet, caring for animals, comforting nervous pets, providing support to the families who entrust us with their care, and doing all of the work that keeps our clinics running.

To our amazing veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff: THANK YOU! We are so grateful for all that you do! ❤️🐶🐱

💜 🐾 💚 We had a great Saturday at O'Fallon Park at our Community Vaccine Clinic, when we helped 116 dogs and cats receive preventive care! 🐶🐱

Events like this remind us why community outreach matters. By bringing essential veterinary services directly into neighborhoods, we can help remove barriers to care and keep more pets healthy and with the families who love them.

Thank-you to the City of St. Louis Health Department and our community partners Petco Love and Sunset Hills Subaru for their support of the event!

And a huge thanks to our amazing staff and volunteers who gave up part of their Saturday to make it happen. We couldn't have done it without you!

❤️ We Have the Best Community! ❤️

Sometimes, it's the unexpected acts of kindness that remind us just how fortunate we are to have such an incredible community behind us.

Recently, one of our vehicles had a flat tire, and an amazingly generous donor stepped up and took care of getting it repaired for us. No hesitation, just someone who saw a need and wanted to help.

And a huge thank-you to our friends at Bebb Asphalt, who generously donated their time and services to repair our damaged parking lot! Their kindness helped make our clinic safer and more accessible for the pets and people we serve.

These may not be the kinds of contributions you typically see us celebrating, but they mean so much. Every dollar we don't have to spend on unexpected repairs is a dollar we can put toward helping pets in need access the care they deserve.

To everyone who supports us, whether through donations, volunteering, sharing our posts, or simply showing up when we need a hand: thank you.

It's often said that it takes a village, and we're so grateful for ours. ❤️🐶🐱

Popcorn stopped by our Rolla clinic recently, and we couldn't resist that face, or that tongue! 😛

While he was here to be neutered, Popcorn also received his rabies and DAPPV/Lepto vaccines, a nail trim, and additional medications and care to help keep him comfortable and healthy.

Visits like Popcorn's are about more than one procedure. By making spay/neuter and essential veterinary care affordable and accessible, our Rolla team helps pets get the care they need while staying right where they belong, with the families who love them. ❤️

🐾 Remember Rolla Red? ❤️

You may have followed Rolla Red’s story through the Rolla Animal Shelter after she and her five puppies were brought to safety earlier this summer.

We were so happy to see this sweet mama at our Rolla clinic, where our team had the privilege of spaying her, and, more recently, her puppies have been making their way through our clinic for their spay/neuter surgeries, too!

From a mama trying to care for five little ones on her own to a whole family getting the care they need for a healthier future, we love getting to be one small part of stories like this. ❤️

Thank you to the Rolla Animal Shelter for caring for Rolla Red and her babies and for making spay/neuter part of their journey toward forever homes.

And judging by this photo, Rolla Red made a few more friends while she was here! 🥰

🐶 Dogs and cats can be exposed to rabies through contact with infected wildlife.
🦇 In the U.S., rabies is most commonly found in wildlife such as bats, raccoons, skunks and foxes.
💉 Vaccination is one of the most important tools we have to prevent rabies.

Help keep your pet protected by staying up to date on vaccinations and preventive care. Schedule a wellness appointment today! Call 573-465-3099 and leave a message for our team.

😸 September is Happy Cat Month. Don't forget that a happy cat starts with a healthy cat!

Regular preventive care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations and parasite prevention, can help protect your cat's health and keep them feeling their best for years to come.

Just ask Twiggy! This handsome guy visited our Rolla clinic to be neutered, helping reduce his urge to roam, fight and find a mate, giving him more reasons to stay happy and healthy at home. 💚

This Happy Cat Month, give your favorite feline a little extra love and make sure they’re up to date on their care! Schedule a visit at CarolHousePetClinic.org or call us at 573-465-3099 and leave a voicemail.
