Breeder Alert Foaling Alarm

Breeder Alert Foaling Alarm The Original Halter Foaling Alarm in the U.S. since 1979 Most deliveries proceed normally without complications. However, you never know when a problem may arise.
(1)

Breeder Alert® Halter Foaling Monitor was developed in 1979, to alert the foaling attendant of an impending birth to assist the foal and/or mare if necessary. It may be a simple task of breaking the sack to save the life of a foal or having time to summon a veterinarian if needed. Most expectant mares will lie flat out before and during the foaling process. The majority of mares foal at night and

breeders can spend many long sleepless nights watching and waiting for a foal to arrive. Our Transmitters utilize a "G Sensor" to determine position of mare's head. Other halter systems still use a basic tilt switch which will allow false alarms to occur (we used tilt switches in our older systems years ago). The best safeguard against losing a foal, and possibly a broodmare, is to have someone present. As the owner of an expectant mare, you go to great lengths to ensure a smooth and successful delivery. Helping your mare bring a new life into the world comes with responsibilities, including proper veterinary care, nutrition, and planning. With the aid of Breeder Alert® Foaling Alarm you will be alerted when your mare is flat out in the foaling position and be ready to monitor and assist in the birthing process if necessary.

Happy Mother's Day to all!
This note I received sure made my day! We love happy endings :).
Thank you Lara for taking the time to send to me! You will be making so many memories with your new little one arriving in a few months! We wish you the best!

Hi Janet,
I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for my Breeder Alert system! My (maiden) mare showed no signs of foaling last night, but went into labor early this morning. I have a camera in her stall, but I have not been able to stay up all night as I am 7 months pregnant myself, and work a full-time day job. According to my camera footage, my mare laid down at 4:01 a.m., and the Breeder Alert called me on my cell phone at 4:01 a.m. My husband and I instantly woke up, threw on our clothes and sped the 1+ mile to the barn. We arrived at 4:07 a.m. and had plenty of time to assist my mare as the foals front legs were twisted and she was having a difficult time progressing.
Sincerely,
Lara

"I thought I would send you this cute photo of my 2 week old foal. The alarm went off at 2:20, I was in the barn by 2:23. He needed a bit of assistance coming into the world, but it was a happy ended. This is our 3rd foal using this system."

What a wonderful way to start our day... Thank you Liz for your kind words :).
"Janet,
Holy smokes! I was a little apprehensive (not because I didn’t think it would work…it’s just new to us!) to buy this product, but it was worth every penny we spent on it. It arrived just in time and we were blessed with a beautiful palomino stud c**t early this morning. Your system was easy to set up and it worked like a charm. I love that it sends continuous signals as the mare continues to lie flat. This seems to save several trips to check on our girls as we quickly learned that she was up and down all night but when it continued to send the alarm, we knew it was go time! We love this system and we will be sure to pass your business along to other breeders we know. Thank you!!

Sincerely,
James and Liz Irish

Our sincere thanks to Kate Fleming of Meadows Equine Farm in North Carolina. Notes like this are really so appreciated. Can't wait to see the foal of this beauty.
"Just wanted to take time and send a thank you note!! The breeder alert has changed everything.

Attached is our girl Paradise Lost, now we are able to let her out on the pasture with her transmitter, and I am no longer sleeping in the tack room.

Had a few false alarms where she was just sleeping peacefully, but it works at a good distance away as our house is not close to barn, and our barn is steel, so it works thru metal which is amazing.

Thank you so much for sending this out for me on Friday,"

Love love love this note that was sent to us. Thank you Laura Braden! So happy you got to witness this special event :).
"Hey there
Just wanted to give you guys a 100% customer satisfaction review.
I had heard of your product through someone in the community and purchased one this spring and I am SO happy I did!! I was concerned about potential for false alarm as but surprisingly only had a couple! At 341 days I had two alarms back to back and popped my head outside to hear my mare in active labour. I got to see the whole thing and it was pretty special for us as Sadi is our heart horse and she gave birth to her beautiful strong c**t at 4:30 am on May 8th
Peace of mind is priceless. I will be recommending this system to anyone!
Thank you!!
Cheers
Laura Braden (from PEI Canada)"

I hope you can take the time to read this beautifully written note we received and we love the happy ending! The sweet photos are definitely a bonus! Now this is one we will not forget... Thank you Kallie TePoel!
"I have been meaning to let you know how big of a lifesaver (literally) the Breeder Alert has been! If it weren’t for this device we would have lost the foal and most likely the mare as well! The pregnant mare that we had foaling first, unfortunately got into our continuous panel fencing when she was rolling. The trauma of this put her into labor and the baby was unable to be delivered due to not being positioned properly. Thanks to the Breeder Alert, I was made aware of the mare being in the fence immediately!!! Otherwise, she could have been stuck for an hour or so before I would have seen her and we would have never gotten her the help she needed fast enough!
Thank you so very much for this device! When purchasing it I was hoping it would help me to get the much needed sleep at night, but it did so very much more than that!!
So very grateful!
Kallie"

This is a story that touched us. A beautiful ending, thank you so so much Natalie Shelbourn for sharing. The moments you captured in these photos says it all. Thank you!
"Just wanted to say thank you for shipping a Breeder Alert to us so quickly. Our plan has been to send our mare out to foal but circumstances at the last minute made that impossible. You were able to quickly send us a Breeder Alert and not any too soon as the mare foaled 3 days later. We were so thankful to have the Breeder Alert because the birth did not go smoothly and we are sure without knowing immediately that something was happening we would have lost our mare and her foal. Having the Breeder Alert gave us the opportunity to contact the vet and to assist to make sure everyone was safe. Thank you again."
