We have had 17 cases just in the past 30 days. Much higher than usual!
Bobcat fever cases are extremely high this year, and prevention is critical for protecting your cats. This deadly tick-borne disease can affect both outdoor and indoor cats, making prescription flea and tick prevention more important than ever. Talk to your veterinarian about the best prescription protection for your pet.
Common symptoms of bobcat fever include: • High fever
• Loss of appetite
• Extreme tiredness
• Difficulty breathing
• Jaundice (yellow gums or eyes)
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Dehydration
If your cat shows any of these signs, seek veterinary care immediately. Early treatment can save lives.
