Our Blue Opal line was developed by taking our Black Opal Cemani lines and breeding in Silverudd Isbar. Now after several generations we are receiving roosters that are exhibiting shimmering white metallic hackles that overlay deep blue body feathers of Isbar with many exhibiting extreme fibro expression of Ayam Cemani. And to sweeten the pie they lay a luxurious beautiful blue egg. The Blue Opal breeds true to blue, black, splash. While most offspring will boast the heavy Opal flare an occasional solid blue and or solid black roo will pop out in the mix. Most hens are solid in color with some exhibiting light Opal in hackle feathers. For those unfamiliar with blue, black splash breeding we have included a written breeding chart.

Black x Black = 100% Black
Black x Blue = 50% Black and 50% Blue
Black x Splash = 100% Blue
Blue x Blue = 50% Blue 25% Black, 25% Splash
Blue x Splash = 50% Blue and 50% Splash
Splash x Splash = 100% Splash
