I want to share some pictures of my Uncle Ron. He passed away Tuesday AM and he was an incredible influence on my life. Professionally he was my Vet mentor. He stood next to me when I did my first TCI over 30 years ago. He served as an Army Veterinarian and as you see here also worked with local law enforcement. If I ever had a problem or question, we solved it together. I will miss you so bad Uncle Ron. I am happy you are reunited in Heaven with Aunt Jan. But damn I will miss you forever.

FYI for anyone wanting to move semen out of Lake Alfred Animal Hospital. It is $224 PER DOG to pull the semen see below.

I’m reaching out regarding the bulk semen pickup for Block Sporthounds Canine Reproduction Services, as we have not yet heard from you regarding scheduling.

As you know, Lake Alfred Animal Hospital is discontinuing our semen bank and reproduction services; however, Lake Alfred Animal Hospital itself is not closing. We are currently coordinating semen transfers with facilities based on the timeframe we have available to complete the transfers and have established deadlines for all required paperwork and payments.

If you are planning to arrange a bulk pickup, we will need to coordinate with you in advance and schedule a specific pickup date. Please note that if you are providing your own cryotank for the pickup, the clients would only be responsible for the $224 per dog transfer fee. Please make sure they are aware of this fee on our end.

Please let us know if you would like to move forward with arranging a bulk pickup so we can work with you to get a date scheduled.

Attention FLORIDA semen storage peeps! With Lake Alfred Animal Hospital discontinuing reproduction services and semen storage, we will be offering free storage through 2026 at BSI. We know closing of storage facilities is stressful. If multiple people want to get together we can send a tank to retrieve semen this week! We have been in business for 34 yrs and have no intention of closing our facility. We are here to help our FL clients through this stressful time. ❤️

We are sad to learn at Ocala Veterinary Endocrine Lab has permanently closed due to Dr. Marty’s health. Please pray for her. She has been an outstanding endocrinologist for many many years and has worked at Perdue as well as for the US Government, taught, and has been a top endocrine specialist for decades.
