🐾 From Tiny Tornado to Little Angel 😇 — Meet Forrest!
Welcome to the Ridgeside K9 Training Family, Forrest! 🐾❤️
🎓 Congratulations on completing your 2-Week Board & Train!
When Forrest, a 5-month-old Goldendoodle, came to training, he was basically a toddler with four legs, unlimited energy, and absolutely no plans of following the household rules. 😂
Forrest had the run of the house—and he knew it! Why come inside when Mom calls when you can turn the backyard into a game of catch me if you can? Why go into your crate when running the opposite direction is way more entertaining? And “settle”? Forrest was pretty sure that word wasn’t in his vocabulary. His only setting was GO, GO, GO! 🤣
He was jumping on the children, nipping, chewing anything he could get his puppy teeth on, pulling on the leash, struggling to settle in the home, and making his own decisions whenever he got the chance. His family loved him dearly, but they needed help establishing boundaries, structure, and clear expectations before their adorable little puppy became a full-size doodle running the entire household!
After two weeks of training, Forrest has made an amazing transformation! 👏🐾 We worked on impulse control, recall, leash manners, Place, crate manners, boundaries, neutrality around distractions, and—one of the biggest things—learning how to simply SETTLE.
Forrest learned that listening and making good choices earns him all the fun, freedom, and affection he loves. Instead of every command becoming a negotiation or another game, he now understands what is expected of him.
Of course, we didn’t take away that goofy Goldendoodle personality—we just gave that personality some manners! 😂❤️
From a tiny tornado 🌪️ to a calmer, more confident, well-mannered little angel. 😇🐶
🎓 Congratulations, Forrest, on completing your 2-Week Board & Train! Welcome to the Ridgeside K9 Training Family! 🐾❤️
