Today was “circus day” in puppy k. We love to show puppies new things to interact with in a fun and safe way. All the pups had a blast!

Another day of rockstar trailing… in the rain! We got a bit soggy but the dogs didn’t seem to care at all!!

They definitely had no trouble finding the people!!

One of my favorite trails from this week: Check out Kiwi, she is on it! She takes a little break for a squirrel but then returns quickly to trailing. Love her!! 😍

Chilling at Waredaca Brewing is one of my favorite things to do! They have so much dining on there but the atmosphere still seems chill.

Last night they had a yoga class and a group people getting ready for a run! Rigby and I did the perfect “chill” session.

More Mantrailing!

Check out this flowing negative w Bug. Watch how she zigzags across the scent line. It’s hard to see on the video but if you look very closely you can@see the trail layers footsteps in the grass!!

Big showed incredible focus bypassing the stinky grill at the end!! ❤️

So impressed with our new pup Skoppy. She rocked Mantrailing. I can’t wait to see her progress!!

This trail was not long but it was so hard!! Dexter kept sniffing and peeing and I was convinced he’d stopped playing the game!

I was completely wrong. I must learn what I tell my students. “Trust your dog”. It’s tough but we are getting better every day. ❤️🐕

This is the perfect picture! What you cannot tell is the human footprints were made a few minutes before the paw prints!!

Kiwi was right in the trail perfectly following the human’s scent!

The role of the trail layer is so important!

Think being a Trail Layer is just about walking away, hiding and waiting to be found?

Think again...👀

The Trail Layer plays a much bigger role in Mantrailing than you might realise.

From creating and storing the scent article correctly, to firing the dog up, following instructions, hiding appropriately and partying with the dog at the end, every part of the role can impact their training experience.

Check out our new blog that explains why Trail Layers are such an important part of Mantrailing training and what you need to consider when taking on the role 👇
