This is week 2 on Ultium and Amino Acid supplement. I thought she had leaned out but definitely has more muscle definition! I think she got taller behind too! Definitely looking more grown up ❤️

I have had continued trouble putting weight and muscle on Maddie! I would get weight on her then I would start riding her and she would drop a bunch of weight. After trying several different feeds, I bit the bullet and went to Purina’s Ultium. It’s super expensive but it probably works out because I don’t need to top dress it with a fat supplement. She is getting 3 # am/ pm plus an Amino Acid supplement and succeed. By gosh I think we are finally gaining on it!

This is Maddie’s second week out after some time off this winter. Super happy she’s grasping some of these concepts and finally starting some fun work. I will be glad when she can concentrate longer than a goldfish though! Here’s hoping 🤞 🤣😂

Maddie is finally growing up! Auntie Leigh Ann Jackson jumped on her for the first time today. Can’t wait to see where she’s at in another month! She’s finally ready to start the fun work! ❤️🐎

Perk Up Miss Jackson 2021 filly by Johnny Reb Jackson out of a Dash For Perks mare. Currently stands 14.2HH.

“Maddie” has been started under saddle with a handful of rides. She has had extensive ground work and some Liberty training.

Maddie definitely will need to go to performance home with an experienced rider/trainer due to her gas pedal. She loves having a job and will be a top notch barrel prospect!! Paid in to Pink/Ruby buckle. PM for more details
