Some pets need a little extra TLC while staying here at the hospital for the day 🏥 🐶 🐾

This is Coco. She was the bestest girl today for her ACL surgery. Some pets here need some extra cuddles while staying. So we gave her our mascot stuffy dog for her to snuggle up with after surgery. ISENT SHE THE CUTEST 🥰 🐶

We try to make each pets stay here the most comfortable as we can 🖤 🐈 🐕

Sooooo… What is a ACL surgery in dogs?

🐾 Dog ACL (cranial cruciate ligament) surgery is a common orthopedic procedure to stabilize a torn knee ligament, restore mobility, and relieve pain. After surgery it requires a 12- to 16-week recovery period involving strict rest and physical rehabilitation.

Refresher CPR training was a success!

We re learned, and learned the newest updated CPR methods and protocols.

We are always learning for the better care of our patients!

We want to thank Ally from UMA-Bangor Vet Tech Program for coming out to our hospital and for the great CPR demonstration!

And yes we did have a little fun at the end… 😅

Our staff will be getting a refresher on animal CPR training. We are always learning, and trying to better ourselves for your pets!

We are excited and grateful to have a representative from UMA-Bangor Vet Tech Program come and give us a refresher!
