Day 2 of Animal Welfare Youth Summer Camp!!! We had a total of twelve kids. It was so much fun to see them engaged!!! All passed their test with 85 to 100s!!! So proud of them!!!!

Rain or Shine, our community shows up for their pets!

On Saturday, May 23rd, we hosted our free vaccine clinic at the shelter. Despite severe weather moving in halfway through he event, we were thrilled to serve 20 dedicated families who braved the elements to keep their pets safe and healthy!

Thanks to our incredible team and community, we provided a remarkable number of preventative services:

78 Rabies vaccines
53 DAPP vaccines
34 FRVCP vaccines
30 Pet license
14 Microchips

A massive thank you to Petco Love Vaccine project for their generous Vaccine Donation, Target for sending 3 of their workers to help volunteer, Portrait Barne and to Dr. Curic for partnering with us to serve Aransas County. We truly appreciate your dedication to animal welfare and our community!

Missed out? We are already planning our next clinic for November 2026 (exact date to be determined). Stay tuned for updates!!!
