Our drop-in visits are designed for total peace of mind— no leash required!

Whether your pup has a fenced-in yard to run free or just needs some quality backyard playtime, we’ve got it covered.

We couldn't wait any longer to share these shots of Kona.

This handsome guy boarded with us just before our big move, and he absolutely stole the show.

Between playing with our pack leaders, Jaeger & Lobo, and getting a deep brush and conditioning treatment, he was living his best life!

Kona also got his complimentary mini-photoshoot by — which we include in our boarding stays so you have a professional memory of your pup’s vacation. 📸

Why we’ve been a little quiet lately...
Since Kona’s stay, we’ve officially moved! 🏡
We are now settled into our new, bigger home with a huge fenced-in backyard.

We wanted a space where your fur babies truly feel at home—not stuck in a kennel.
Whether they are here for daycare or a long stay, they’ve got room to run, a pack to play with, and a cozy home to sleep in.

Hi everyone 🤍

I want to sincerely apologize if I’ve taken a while to respond — or if I haven’t responded at all.
Since the holidays, things have been a little overwhelming for our family.
We found out we had to move — and we had to move FAST.

I put all of my focus into making sure my family’s transition was as smooth as possible, which meant social media and messages took a back seat for a bit.

The good news? The move is officially DONE and we are settled into our new home! 🎉 We now have even more space for our daycare and overnight boarding pups, and I’m so excited for this next chapter.

While we are no longer located in Merritt Island and are now based in Rockledge, we are absolutely still serving our Merritt Island fur families. That hasn’t changed.

And if the commute is a concern for any of our boarding families, we now offer **free pick-up and drop-off for overnight stays** to make things easier for you.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your continued support. We’re officially back to business as usual — and ready to love on your pups! 🐾

Meet Monti 🤍

A gentle old soul with a shy heart and a story of his own.

We’ve had the honor of caring for his brother Beau
for nearly two years — from daycare and walks to boarding, showers, photography, and even a little basic training.

But Monti? He’s always preferred his space and quiet, so until recently, he never needed our care.

When the time finally came, it wasn’t easy at first.
New faces, new routines — and a lot of patience.
But slowly, trust replaced tension.
The stress barking faded, and in its place came
a soft wagging tail and a calm presence.

At My Island Sandy Paws, we meet dogs where they are — at any age, with any past, and at their own pace.

Because every pup deserves to feel safe, respected, and cared for like family. 🐾
