Our hearts are with Polk County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Ace and his handler, Deputy Sheriff Oestreich, as they face an unimaginable day.

Please join us in praying for K-9 Ace as he receives treatment for his injuries. He was shot in the line of duty and saved the lives of several officers last night. We are also keeping his handler, the deputies involved, and everyone impacted by this incident in our thoughts.

We’re grateful that all deputies are safe, and we hope Ace makes a full and speedy recovery. Police K-9s put their lives on the line every day to protect others, and today this four-legged hero needs all the support and prayers he can get.
