Fun Fact Friday: Did you know a cat may keep it's mouth open to smell something? This is called the Flehem Response. They open their mouths and curl their upper lip to pull the smell to a gland on the roof of their mouth called the vomeronasal organ. It almost looks like they are making a stinky face.
If they do this and are not breathing well, it could be a respiratory infection. If you see your cat doing it often, then check with your vet.
