This is the part that you don’t see.. behind the scenes of when an animal gets adopted. It’s walking over to an empty cage because you wanted to make sure the animal went to its new home with its favorite log, its favorite piece of driftwood, its favorite water bowl. It’s telling yourself that you’re going to be okay, because you know the animal went to a wonderful home. This is the bittersweet and sad moment all in one of a pet shop owner/worker. We love each and everyone of our animals and love to see them go to amazing homes 💛 but it still tugs on our heart strings when they leave. 🥹

🎀🩷 SASSY GIRL SAYS FIGHT LIKE A GIRL! 🩷🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this one is very personal to my heart! 💕

My mom is a BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR, and I couldn’t be more proud of the strong, brave, and amazing woman she is! 💪🏼🩷

Watching someone you love go through something so difficult changes you forever. My mom has shown me what true strength, courage, and determination really look like. She’s not just my mom, she’s my HERO! 🥹💗

Here at Dee’s Aquatics & More, we’re showing our PINK in honor of my mom and all the incredible women who have fought, are still fighting, or have gained their angel wings. 🎀

To my mom, you are stronger than you know, braver than you believe, and loved more than words could ever explain! 🩷

🎀 FIGHT LIKE A GIRL, BECAUSE GIRLS ARE WARRIORS! 🎀
