Pretty Miss Sadie just did a 1 week B&T while her parents were out of town. She worked on her leash walking skills, as well learned to swim.
Her Dad's goals are her to become a duck dog but she was slightly unsure of herself in the water. By the end of the week she was confidently swimming in a big lake with other dogs.

I've had some people in the past ask about just a week of training.

🐾I usually don't do that, but with the Holiday's coming up and having offered it to a couple owners recently. It is actually turning into a great program.🐾

So give yourself the gift of a better behaved dog this holiday season!
The one week program will solely be focusing on sitting politely/no jumping, leash manners, and crate training. 🦃

Today is Millie's graduation day!

I'm meet Millie after I ran into her mom who was chasing her around the neighborhood. Let's just say Millie has come a long way from that day. Doing much better off leash and walking on leash as well. Also heavily focused on door manners as she'd like to bust through doors and run off. She has improved a lot over the last 4 weeks. I'm very happy with her progress.
Now that she is graduated she gets to go back home with her mom and snuggle on her couch. As well as enjoy proper walks around the neighborhood, and coming when called.

Got some bird dogs worked this weekend.

Message me about our Family and Field program.
2 weeks of obedience training and house manners. The remaining 4 weeks are bird dog training, but it doesn't have to just be bird dog training I've had retrievers and deer tracking dogs do the same family and field program.

Jarvis is currently enrolled in the program and has come a long way since the first day I met him.

I've been training much earlier in the morning now that the heat is so unbearable.
UV index of 11.
High temps of 99 and real feel of 102.
It's best to keep the dogs healthy and happy so training either at 7:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. is the only option.
The obedience dogs are doing quick sessions outside and then more house manners or place work indoors.

Jarvis is working on his bird introduction, and learning to be a bird dog. We have just been doing pigeon throws and initial field introduction. Seeing his natural ability.
Jarvis is currently doing the Field and Family program. He finisheds obedience portion and is now doing the field work.
Like a typical Brittany he definitely is slow to point. We'll see though if he figures out quickly or if he just needs more time to develop.
It is quite interesting to see how every breed is different in the way that they develop in the field.
Maybe I'll write an opinion piece of the different breeds development.

2 in training both with very different personalities, yet somehow the exact same?!?!

Ivy, first picture, is reserved and cautious when you first meet her. Then turns into a loveable baby with lots of food drive and a desire to learn..

Diesel is a giant baby who throws his weight around and is kind of a bully. He is also food motivated and enjoys learning. He is a little bit of a handsome but goofy. 🤪

Both are so cute though!

The recent graduates of Fleetwood Dog School!

Jax came to me after chasing after runners, constantly jumping on his kids, and overall just not listening.
He's now graduated after being here for 4 weeks and completing my off leash program.

Moose came after trying to fight the neighbors dog. Running away and overall being very disrespectful in the house.
He came, completed and dominated the 4 week program. He has been excellent in training. Very smart and overall super well behaved now. Don't let his bully face full you he is a very sensitive and sweet boy.

Pablo loves to chase the neighbors cows. He thinks he's a herding dog. You would think because of the breed and his bully like looks he wasn't smart. However, this boy picked up on everything quickly. He is also SUPER food motivated. Making training way easier.
He completed the 4 week and now has an amazing recall. No more cows for you sire.

Super proud of these 3 boys.
The April class is in full swing right now.
