Last night was the third and final night of our Ladies Night Mini Clinic Series! Our focus of the night was obstacles, and it was so much fun! 🤠

My personal favorite take away from this clinic series was watching riders and their horses build confidence and try new things. The goal of this first mini clinic series was to encourage riders to simply get out and put time under saddle on their horses and to have fun while doing so. I think I can say that goal was met! 💗

A huge THANK YOU to all participants who came out and participated and supported our program! Also thank you to Kaitlyn Lucy for sharing her property and being the hostess with the mostest! We also could not have done this without Troy and the other husbands pitching in where extra help was needed. It takes a village! 💪🏼

Stay tuned for updates as we are working on planning a few ride nights this fall at KB Arena in Cedar Hill, TN! We will also do another mini clinic series this spring so follow us for updates when sign ups are available!

Again, THANK YOU to all who made this possible! 💗

We had the best day yesterday at the Melmsgard Equine Expo at the Logan County Agricultural Arena in Russellville, Kentucky! 🤠

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting new horse enthusiasts, connecting with other equine professionals, and sharing our love for Ranch Riding during our demo. We are so humbled by the amazing turnout and outpouring of love and support from old and new friends in the area! As we prepare for the final few events of this year and gear up for a busy 2027 season, we are sincerely grateful for all of you who continue to show up and show out for us every time! 💪🏼

A HUGE THANK YOU to Elin and Matt Pitts with Melmsgard Performance Horses & Training, LLC who spent hundreds of hours planning this event. Your hard work does not go unnoticed and what an incredible event it turned out to be! I am excited for this to become an annual thing to look forward to!

I also would like to take a moment to brag on Rango, my trusty demo pony. Rango is a 10 y/o APHA gelding owned by our good friend, Meranda, who has been sharing Rango with us since last fall. Rango is a pony with a lot of thoughts, to say the least, and most of those thoughts have not always been productive. 😆 Rango was finished under saddle in the Reined Cowhorse events but since being with us we have geared it back a bit to focus on the ranch events and he seems to be taking to it quite well! For a horse who started out with lots of anxiety under pressure and one who would fall apart a bit when you’d ask a little more of him, a change of pace seems to be just what he needed. He is proving to be a fun and trustworthy ranch horse who didn’t bat an eye at the crowds and hustle and bustle of the expo atmosphere yesterday. Though we still need to work on going over poles (if you were at the demo you get it 😆,) he is well on his way to a tried and true all around horse. To boot, he’s been a fun horse to pitch in with a few riding lessons here and there! He is quickly becoming a barn favorite. Thank you Meranda for sharing your pony with us 🥰

Night 2 of our Ladies Night Mini Clinic Series was a success! 🤠

Last night we worked on gaining control of our horses’ shoulders and hips under saddle. Developing a feel and control of those body parts sets a strong foundation for every future maneuver for you and your horse! 💪🏼

Our final night is September 26 where we will work on obstacles including ground poles, working a gate, handling a rope, and more! We will see you there! 🤩

We had the BEST Night 1 of our Ladies Night Mini Clinic Series! 🤩

Thank you for everyone who came out to participate. My favorite part of this job is helping people grow their confidence and strengthen their horsemanship skills, especially knowing how impactful a meaningful relationship with horses can be. 💗

A special thanks to Kaitlyn Lucy for sharing her property and arena with us. KB Arena is the perfect venue for our mini clinics with ample room, safe footing and fencing, and just a generally welcoming and positive atmosphere!

We are so excited for Night 2, September 12! 🤠
