Our deshed treatment is perfect for pups that leave a little trail of fur everywhere they go! We use a gentle deshed shampoo and conditioner to help loosen all that extra undercoat, then finish with a force dryer and thorough brushing to remove all the loose hair.

Farm dogs deserve spa days too! 🐑🛁

These two gorgeous Great Pyrenees come to see us once a year for their grooming, and they absolutely love it. They walk in with muddy paws, hay tangled through their tails, and enough dust to prove they’ve been hard at work protecting livestock. A few hours later, they leave looking like they belong in a dog show, with bright white coats, fluffy brushed out tails, clean feet, and feeling their absolute best. Then right back out to the farm they go!

Working and guardian dogs may live outdoors and have important jobs, but regular grooming still matters. Even just a yearly groom can help remove packed undercoat, dirt, debris, and mats that can pull on the skin or trap moisture. It also gives us a chance to check for skin issues, sore spots, overgrown nails, and anything else that might be hiding under all that fluff.

With over 30 years of grooming experience, Dana’s ‘Dog-On’ Grooming & Boarding is built on a lifelong love and dedication to animals. Alongside decades of grooming, Dana has completed veterinary schooling and worked as a veterinary technician for 4 years, giving her extensive knowledge in animal care, health, and behavior. She has also been heavily involved in animal rescue for over 15 years, serving as Vice President of the Tri County Humane Society and as Founder and President of Tails of the South, Inc.

Animals have always been at the center of her life, and every furry friend that comes through her doors is treated with patience, kindness, and compassion. Whether your pet is here for grooming or boarding, you can trust they will be cared for and loved just as much as they are at home! 🤍🐾❤️
