Each and every year my family uses the day before Memorial Day to help set the flags at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. It is important to me and so many other families out there. I’m proud Scouting America allows us to participate in such a wonderful event. As we celebrate Memorial Day, we must paws and remember that this day is not about a day off work or having a great barbecue but rather about those who served. All gave some, some gave all.

When our director met Samba in a local shelter, she immediately knew he was going to be an Even Chance dog. Despite battling painful ear infections, a spider bite, and chronic allergy issues causing significant hair loss, Samba is the happiest, most loving boy you could meet. He’s goofy, resilient, and could be the mascot for chaos. We love him.
Samba has received extensive veterinary care, including appointments with a dermatology specialist to make sure he gets the best treatment possible. As you can imagine, this all comes with a high cost and we receive no government funding—we are solely funded by donors like you.
We’re committed to doing whatever it takes for him… we just can’t do it alone.

Rockwood South Middle is hosting its third annual "Paws in Need" adoption event at the school from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. Local animal shelters and rescue groups will be on hand with dogs and puppies who are in need of a loving home.

Hello all of our wonderful patients and clients! I have made the decision to keep the clinic closed tomorrow 1/26/2026 due to some of the roads still being quite hazardous to travel. I am hoping everyone can stay home and stay safe while the hard-working crews continue to clear the roads. Thank to David who cleared our lot for us, we appreciate him! Thank you for your understanding and stay safe and warm!
