As we contemplate today, many of remember exactly where we were on this day 25 years ago. I will never forget. Thank you to all who went and offered whatever they could, anyone who served the victims and their families from that day.
We will not forget. 🇺🇸

ETA- we FINALLY have our phones and internet back!! It turns out local tree trimmers were careless and broke our fiber lines. Thanks to our wonderful technician from AT&T and 3+ hours of his hard work, we are up and running again!
Please note that we are having internet and phone issues - Dr Johnson is working diligently from her vacation spot to try and resolve them, but it is taking some time. Thanks for your patience!

Our new friend August would like you to stay safe and cool on this July 4th! Although he’s not sure you can be as cool (or as cute!) as him in this hat!!

Each and every year my family uses the day before Memorial Day to help set the flags at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. It is important to me and so many other families out there. I’m proud Scouting America allows us to participate in such a wonderful event. As we celebrate Memorial Day, we must paws and remember that this day is not about a day off work or having a great barbecue but rather about those who served. All gave some, some gave all.

When our director met Samba in a local shelter, she immediately knew he was going to be an Even Chance dog. Despite battling painful ear infections, a spider bite, and chronic allergy issues causing significant hair loss, Samba is the happiest, most loving boy you could meet. He’s goofy, resilient, and could be the mascot for chaos. We love him.
Samba has received extensive veterinary care, including appointments with a dermatology specialist to make sure he gets the best treatment possible. As you can imagine, this all comes with a high cost and we receive no government funding—we are solely funded by donors like you.
We’re committed to doing whatever it takes for him… we just can’t do it alone.
If you’re able, please consider donating this Give STL Day. Funds raised will help pit bulls like Samba get color back in their lives. Every dollar brings him closer to the vibrant future that he deserves. Color Their World with your support. givestlday.org/evenchance
