The sky is cloudy and promising more rain. This morning is looking a lot different than originally planned. We should have been hustling, getting all last minute details handled for guests on the farm, setting up to talk about the sheep and wool we are so passionate about, and welcoming our vendors. Instead, doing farm chores and prepping for a rainy week.

Even though we needed to cancel our farm's event, there are so many amazing farms still participating all across South Carolina, today through Monday. Make sure to check out to see what veteran-owned farms you visit this weekend.

Unfortunately due to the weekend forecast we made the tough decision to cancel Farms of the Brave Ag & Art. Our farm will not be open Friday or Saturday. While we will miss welcoming our community in for the day, we are very hopefully for a good rain!

Meika and her twins are enjoying this lovely day!

Forecast is showing some rain headed our way (YAY!) but it's the same time as our event Friday and Saturday (BOO). We will be updating closer to time if we have to cancel, but we all know how often this southern weather loves to change. Fingers crossed we can both have everyone out to the farm and then still get in a good rain.

Twins! Princess Luna had a little boy and girl this morning. Unfortunately when I tried to capture some photos of them Salt and Pepper decided I needed to give them my attention instead. Taking photos with lambs climbing on you isn't the easiest. I'll try again tomorrow.

Who is team duck eggs? We started off using them for baked goods, then moved on to cooking with them - stir fries, meatloaves - and finally to frying, scrambling, everything! At 1.5 to 2 times the size of a chicken egg and more nutritious, duck eggs are our go to.

Website is updated with the 2026 lambs! We are beginning the hard process of deciding who we can part with and are marking which ones are available. Right now we have 2 adorable bottle babies available immediately; the rest will be available upon weening at 3 months.

We are taking deposits and can arrange visits or send more information if you are interested. These babies are happy, healthy, and would be great additions to your herd!

Camden is very good at making photocopying herself into tiny form. Introducing Chai. She was born last week and is simply perfection.

Bay Leaf is still way smaller than all the lambs on the farm, but what she lacks in speed, she makes up for in cuteness!

Twins! Olive is our oldest ewe and always delivers lovely babies. This year we have a gorgeous badger face boy and a beautiful white ewe lamb. Healthy big Shetland babies! We are down to the final 3 ladies left to lamb before our season is over.
