Did you know your dog’s nose print is unique to them, similar to the way our fingerprints are unique to us? 🐶👃🐾

The pattern of ridges and grooves on a dog’s nose creates a distinctive print, making it just one more thing that makes your pup completely one of a kind.

And we think their veterinary care should feel just as personal. 💚

At Lesslie Animal Hospital, we don’t see a room full of “dogs” or “cats.” We see individual personalities, individual needs, and beloved members of your family. Getting to know what makes each patient unique is one of our favorite parts of what we do.

Because there’s only one of them, and to your family, they’re irreplaceable. ❤️

Proudly local. Proudly family-owned. Proudly Lesslie. 💚🐾

Lesslie Animal Hospital isn’t part of a large corporate chain. We’re an independent, family-owned veterinary hospital right here in Rock Hill, caring for the same community we live and work in.

To us, that matters.

It means getting to know you and your pets by name. It means building relationships that last through every stage of their lives. It means making decisions with our patients and their families at the heart of what we do.

When you choose Lesslie Animal Hospital, you’re not just choosing veterinary care. You’re supporting a local family, a local team, and a business that is genuinely invested in this community.

Thank you, Rock Hill, for continuing to support local and trusting us with some of the most important members of your family. 🐶🐱❤️

Baby Dani arrived much earlier than expected at just 27 weeks and is now receiving care in the NICU. She has a long road ahead, and her parents, Billie and Ty, are spending as much time as possible by her side while she grows stronger.

Billie and Ty are staying in housing near the hospital so they can be close to Dani throughout her NICU stay. This meal train is a simple way to support them during this challenging and uncertain time. Having meals taken care of will allow them to focus their energy on Dani and being there for her each day.

If you sign up for a meal slot, please text or direct message Carly Dickson, Lori Setzer, or Heather Jackson. Billie and Ty may be moving around during this time and will be spending many hours at the hospital and are unable to directly receive the meals. We can help facilitate the delivery of these meals or any other contributions you would like to make towards the family.

Thank you so much for helping care for Billie and Ty while they care for their precious baby. Every meal, gift card, and gesture of support means so much to their family. ❤️

🐱 Cat Fun Fact of the Day!

Did you know cats have an extra scent-detecting organ on the roof of their mouth called the **vomeronasal organ**? 👃🐾

If you've ever seen your cat sniff something and then sit there with their mouth slightly open and a hilariously confused expression, they're actually using this special organ to analyze the scent! This behavior is called the **Flehmen response**, and it gives cats even more information about the world around them.

So next time your cat makes *that face*, don't judge. They're just conducting some very important scientific research. 😂🔬

Some visits stay with us long after a family walks through our doors. ❤️🐾

We understand that when your pet is hurting, scared, or nearing the end of their life, you aren't simply worried about an animal. You're worried about a member of your family. A best friend. A constant companion. A piece of your everyday life.

And when the heartbreaking moment comes to say goodbye, we understand the weight of that decision. Our role isn't only to provide veterinary care. It's to listen, to offer guidance, to give you the time and compassion you need, and to make sure your beloved family member is surrounded by dignity and love until the very end.

We are incredibly grateful to this family for trusting us during such a difficult moment and for sharing their experience. Reviews like this mean more to our team than we can adequately put into words.

At Lesslie Animal Hospital, there is no such thing as "just a pet." They are family, and we will always treat them that way. ❤️

Some patients have a way of stealing everyone's heart the moment they walk through the door... and this sweet guy was definitely one of them. 🐾💚

He may be a mix of several different breeds, but one thing's for certain: he's 100% lovable.

One of the best parts of what we do is meeting incredible pets, each with their own unique personality. Every wagging tail, happy greeting, and cuddle reminds us why we love caring for animals every single day.
