We need your help.
Our rescue partner, Lancaster SPCA, has done amazing work and we’ve helped adopt out 144 kitties to their purrever homes since partnering with them. Our cat lounge is at catpacity and there’s now a waitlist for cats who are ready and in foster homes right now. All of their fosters are full and they can’t take in more cats at this time; they usually are able to take cats in from the Lancaster Shelter and do medical fosters from vet clinics, but there’s no where to place them.
Here’s where you can help:
Most Needed: Apply to become a foster home for cats and kittens from LSPCA. You do not have to live in Lancaster County, York County is purrfectly fine and closer to the cat cafe. LSPCA provides everything, they just need a place to crash (like a spare bedroom or bathroom). If you have any questions we are happy to chat with you to encourage you to foster! Very Important: Consider adding a furry friend to your family! We have 11 kitties who are staying at the cafe until they find their forever homes, and they come in all shapes and sizes! The adoption fee is only $75 and includes all their past medical needs (spay/neuter, Rabies vaccine, FVRCP, FeLV, and Rabies Vaccines, a negative f***l test, and flea/tick prevention). Much Appreciated: Donate! We are still trying to raise money for LSPCA for Pixie’s procedure, only $250.67 has been raised so far of the $4,000 needed. She’s been recovering well but still doesn’t have the same energy level her sister has. There are so many more animals that also need medical attention in LSPCA’s care, so every little bit helps.
