Say hello to Ginger! 🥰🧡

Ginger is participating in our current group class and is having a blast learning alongside the other dogs!

Just 2 weeks in, she’s already mastered sit, down, and place, proving she’s one smart pup. 🌟

•• Group classes are a great opportunity to build a strong obedience foundation while practicing around real world distractions and other dogs in a controlled environment.

This helps improve focus, confidence, and reliability while giving owners the tools to continue their dog’s success at home.

Way to go, Ginger! 🥳 We can’t wait to see what you accomplish over the next few weeks! 🐾💛

Today we met with Axel and his family for his free training evaluation! 🐾

•• These evaluations are all about getting to know the dog, understanding the family’s goals, and identifying any challenges they’re facing so we can recommend the training package that best fits their needs.

Every dog is different, which is why a personalized plan sets everyone up for success from the very beginning!

We can’t wait to see what Axel accomplishes on his training journey! 💙

We moved our lesson outside and continued recall training with Ralphie and Sherman! ☀️

•• Taking training into more distracting environments is a huge part of building a reliable recall! A dog that comes inside your living room may not respond the same way when there are smells, sounds, and other exciting things competing for their attention.

By gradually increasing distractions, we’re helping them generalize the command and understand that come means the same thing no matter where they are.

The result?

A more reliable recall you can trust in the real world!

Training isn’t about perfection in one location, it’s about creating consistency everywhere! 🐾

We’re moving right along in her training! 🐾✨

Building off of last week’s progress, today we introduced an implied stay with her place command. Instead of repeatedly telling a dog to “stay,” an implied stay teaches them that the command itself means remain in position until released.

Why does that matter? 🤔

Because it creates clarity and accountability. Your dog learns that place doesn’t mean hop on the bed for a second, it means stay there until given permission to move!

This helps build reliability, improves impulse control, and creates a dog that understands expectations without needing constant reminders. 🙌🏼

She’s catching on quickly, and I’m excited to see her confidence continue to grow! 💛

The yucky weather didn’t stop Ralphie and Sherman from learning the come command! 🌧️🐾

•• One of our favorite ways to teach recall is by turning it into a game. Instead of making “come” feel like the fun is over, we use movement, praise, play, and excitement to teach dogs that coming back to their handler is always rewarding!

Not only does this help build a faster, more reliable recall, but it also strengthens engagement and the relationship between dog and owner. Proof that training can be both effective and fun, even if it rains! ☔️🎾

Gracie killed it at her first lesson! 🙌🏼

•• After a slight equipment change to give her more room when performing the place command, Gracie started to like this whole “training” thing! 😆

🤍

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice is woven into the story of our nation and remembered in the quiet freedoms we often take for granted. Today, we remember the fallen, stand beside the families who carry their absence, and reflect with gratitude on the cost of liberty.

May we never forget those who gave everything. 🇺🇸

Sherman and Ralphie crushed it today! 👏🐾

•• Both boys have officially mastered down and were introduced to place today! They picked up on the new command quickly with just a few minutes of luring and are proving how fun learning can be when communication is clear and rewarding. So proud of these handsome boys and their progress already! 🧡
